mignumspeed Posted April 17, 2009 Report Share Posted April 17, 2009 can anybody help me with my carbs i recently rebuilt them and they both leak out the over flow tubes:they leaked before i rebuilt them.ive checked the float height and its 20mm,ive also ran it lower and it still leaks could there be something missing,i'm sure the bowl screws are tight and the screw that drains the fuel from the bowl is tight,so any help? sahara Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 there is an O-ring that is probably bad that is located where the float pin goes up into the carb. It is around the copper looking thing the float pin goes into. I just had the exact same problem and replaced both my O-rings and it fixed the problem perfectly. Hope that helps.
