c zappy r
I just rebuilt my top end and after I started it for the first time the right side had a lot more pressure coming out than the left side exhaust. I was told it could possibly be the reeds. so I got my reeds pulled out and when i flipped them there is still a small gap. will this affect anything? also was wondering if you knew any other possibilities that could be causing the pressure difference. shee4speed
did you do a compression test? Are your carbs synced?
278
had the same problem, make sure the little black rubber tube (cross-over tube) that connects the carbs is there and attached to both carbs... A gap in the reeds could cause this, switch your reeds around see if the problem follows the reed with a gap, if not that switch your spark plug wires around and see if it switches cylinders if not that, try switching around the spark plugs and see if it changes cylinders.
