Since i broke my chain sproket im looking to upgrade...can anyone recomend a all around good sproket size? I never find myself topping out on the last gear.....their just isnt enough space to open up my banshee all the way...at best i only get into 4th gear.....what size should i go with to give me a decent hole shot......but still have enough top end.....dont want a "drag" bike...just looking for the best all around teeth size.....Thanks for your input.

also we need to know about how modded your bike is. higher hp bikes can pull taller gears better. and most of the riding i do is in 1st thru 4th also. i like having taller gears just cause wen you hit 5th and 6th you r fucking scootin!!

sounds like hes wanting lower gear instead of taller......i basically was in the same situation, no room around here to top out 6th..............i dropped 1 in the front and im happy......

id just drop one in the front and see how you like it. its gonna make your 2nd gear starts easier and if you never see 6th gear anyway, it wont affect you there.

rockymountainatv.com sells primary drive sprockets that are cheap and durable. you might want to go ahead and replace the rear too, so that your chain isnt riding on two sprockets that are worn differently. its a good idea to replace the chain every once in a while too.
