sredish Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 bike will have passion dune ported cylinders, PT hi revs, raised compression and reeds, adv. timing; otherwise stock. Swinger is stock as well. Found a really nice set of 21x12x8 superlight Hauler 7 paddle Extremes... thinking of picking them up to use as my dune and play drag tires. They should hook good enough but still provide enough slip to not throw me over and let me keep my revs when duning.... thoughts? Quote

GrMeyer Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 I run 8 pads and have had great luck with them. I dont think 7 will be enough for you Quote

I have a pair of Padla Brats comp cut 8 paddles for my one Honda and a pair of superlight 8 paddle regs. for my other Honda. I'm very familiar with superlight and comp cut paddles. The lighter the better. Quote

sredish Posted March 17, 2009 Author Report Posted March 17, 2009 I'm getting a set of rear hubs Honda pattern for the Banshee and this way I can swap across all three sets... see which one works good on each. I know my favorite paddles period are Padla Brats... those suckers are bad to the bone, but for 4 bills, i'm just not feelin another set right now. Quote
2003LimitedBanshee Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 I know I'm going to get lambasted here, because I've always seemed to run more paddles than anyone else, but... I ran regular 8 paddle haulers up until the end of last season when I got 9 paddle extremes. I got the 9's because I am working over a set of cylinders right now, but I am running them on my stock cylinders right now. Now, when I'm dragging I can't launch in 2nd and it is a definite handful on big climbs on the stock arm, but a lot can be said for gearing and body position on the bike. Personally, I would run a minimum of 8 paddle extremes, but like I said, I seem to run way more paddles than most for whatever reason. Quote
bansheefreak Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 hey scott i have a set of 8 paddle extremes 21/11/8 on itp wheels honda pattern but nice for that bike... Quote
rubberneck Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 I think some 7 extremes will make a nice combo dune/playdrag tire. I have a set of 21/12/8 8 paddle reg haulers and they are a nice all around tire on a stock arm. If its a good price snatch em up, you can always turn them on here. Quote
