278 Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 i called one of these so called "site sponsors" and i got a better deal on my parts from a "major" builder and i don't see any of the sites sponsors winning pikes peak or pont de vaux like there banshees are doing so I won't just go to someone beacuse they are a site sponsor, I bet if alba or trinty were a site sponsor, you would be sucking their cock too. duncan has proven themselves over and over again, with 2 and 4 strokes, so why not use them? You dont see that because the back yard builders dont have a ton of money to go pay the best rider in that area to put there name and parts on there bike... I bet if we lined up a bunch of pro riders at those places and had Tim at stellar machine and performance design chassis's for all those places and have Jeff at FAST, Kevin at HJR, Brandon from Wildcard Racing, and a couple others go against your "big builders" those drivers would take the back yard guys bike over trinity or duncan or any of those Quote
Angel ripper Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 (edited) I also remember way back when, people on this site loved trinity,,, now beacuse they are a big name builder, people don't like them? {can't be postitive but wasent Trinity a site sponsor a while back}? What happens if all these site sponsors get big, youre gonna then say they suck? ball lickers will always be ball lickers I guess  Edited March 15, 2009 by Angel ripper Quote

What happens if all these site sponsors get big, youre gonna then say they suck? ball lickers will always be ball lickers I guess  these big name builder might be good for 4strokes but they just dont know shit when it comes to 2strokes or atleast banshees. i found this on Alba's site. scroll down to the 67.9hp 400cc stroker kit! :: heres a direct quote from them," This is the most power we have tested from a normally-aspirated Banshee". are you serious? under 68hp with a stroker, 34mm pj's, cool head, reeds, timing plate and filter? yeah, thats a joke. for some reason im not thinkin trinity's 421 kit is gonna be much better. :geek: now, im not sayin these companies CANT build decent bikes, im just sayin the "small name" builders are BETTER. Angel ripper Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 (edited) trinity has built pikes peak banshees and won almost every year! yeah, thats bad 2 stroke buiilding  Edited March 15, 2009 by Angel ripper Quote

Angel ripper Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 I'm not much of a drag racer. So I don't know who does what there. duncan has built eichners pont de vaux banshee that has won like 7 years in a row,,, hmm guess duncan had nothing to do with that too. just the rider :ermm: and oh they used a boost bottle  Quote
locogato11283 Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 youre fucking right its the rider. you think that guy cant go out there and win on some backyard builders motor? i think he can. Quote

Tapatalk Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Stroker, I dont see any 535 cheetah pv on m@m's site. What was that some special order? And what was the difference between them and trinity because I noticed m@m is just a dealer for trinity, i'm confused. Quote

2001Stroker Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 I talked to Andy about it a few days ago. Trinity is the only dealer for Cheetah PV motors. They cried about it when CP Industries tried to give other dealers the right to sell the Cheetah. So, M&M and a few other dealers are dealers for Trinity. Since Trinity has so much overhead and bullshit builders to pay, their prices are way more than anywhere else. Basically, CP makes the cylinders, ships them to Trinity, then it gets shipped to the 3rd party dealer, then the nikisil guy, then back to the 3rd party dealer, where he sells it to you. It's all a bunch of bullshit, all because Trinity whined to CP about being the only Cheetah dealer. Now, M&M and other Trinity dealers get the cylinders at a discounted price, and since they don't have the same overhead as Trinity, they can afford to sell the cylinders cheaper. And that's why I got my topend from M&M for $600 less than Trinity sells it for. And, I even bought billet intakes and ARP studs. Climbr, you have to call or email Andy for the Cheetah stuff. Quote

nayr742003 Posted March 15, 2009 Author Report Posted March 15, 2009 I think the rider says it all on whatever they ride it could be a stock bike and they could still kick ass. A back yard builder i think takes more pride in the work they do for someone and would want the work to stand up so they get there name out there. Quote
