PACIFIC NW BANSHEE Posted March 3, 2009 Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 (edited) I guy i worked with a few years back said when his pipes were new he had them ceramic coated on the inside to keep heat down and the blueing .Now i dont know how true this is to me it seems like it would be hard to get a good coating inside ?? Rollins Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 I read an article the other day that said that in order to delay of lessen the blueing effect, one must run a richer fuel mixture to keep the heat down. I tried a version of that. I read somewhere to clean the insides with oven cleaner and spray the high temp rattle can paint inside the flange to prevent blueing.
