jmoore Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I am going to pick up some new bars within the next week here and also get the trail tech big bar clamp kit. Which bend would keep it around stock height? Mid or high bend? Would you guys reccomend the cr bend or the atv bend? I see that these are the most common but im not really sure of the difference between the two. The bars im looking at are the pro taper contours or the trail tech x bars. Thanks Quote

Titan up Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 I just bought the trail tech x bars mid bend with the big bar clamp. Trail tech says the big bar clamp with the ATV mid bend is the same height as stock. I love mine. it fit and looks good. Quote

camatv Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 KX high is a lil higher than cr hi and a nicer overall bend. and another thing DONT ROTATE yoru bars forward!!! the ends need to be flat!!! if the ends are pointed UP it will hurt your wrists badly if you bang the wheels into anything.. and its really bad on your posture.. i HATE that the dirtbikers have all those different bends and changes in bends and what do we have ATV ape hangers thanks guys.. I'd just assume my bars bend/break before something more expensive. i believe jd (87sheerips) made it. he does awsome work. i have the cheapo moose bars. they came on my shee when i bought it. ive never tried any other bars, so i cant say anything good or bad about em.
