DustinP Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 banshee will start right up, idle fine, then when you give it gas it bogs down and will not accelerate. When I check both plugs they seem to be excessively wet. At first I thought it was just one cyclinder and I cleaned the pilot, but didn't help. Thought maybe broken reed, not broken, but switched the reeds in the opposite cylinder. Now, I niether cyclinder is hitting. Any one have a spark issue where it will start and idle, but when you give it gas it bogs down? Any idea witch igintion part might cause that kind of spark problem? Quote
trex banshee Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 Are you runnin stock carbs? If so make sure the choke tube is connected between the two carbs, not the balance tube or boost bottle which ever you may have. But the 1/4 fuel line hooking both carbs together. Quote
Mjv420 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 Have you checked to see if the plugs are indeed firing? Quote
njbanshee Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 Check you wiring. Mine did the same thing a while back, and it was just a loose wire. Quote
DustinP Posted February 24, 2009 Author Report Posted February 24, 2009 Im running 33's and I've checked and cleaned the carbs, i will look for any loose wires, but it is getting spark and it starts right up, Quote
ban99 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 there is an electrical sensor attached to you e-brake that occasionally gets stuck or if your e-brake is on . Give it a wiggle and see if that works. It's all interconnected with the tors system which in most oppinions should be removed. Quote
trex banshee Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 Did it run fine before then it just started doing this or has this occurred due to you changing something? Quote
DustinP Posted February 25, 2009 Author Report Posted February 25, 2009 got it fixed, one of the wires that is dissconnectd from the TORS had fell down and melted together. Quote
