  1. Didn't change anything, but when I took it apart the steels were purple and I asked my brother if his springs bottom out and he said no, so i figured maybe something was wrong. When your riding it feels great in the lower gears but I was noticing in the upper gears feels like it slips for a second then takes off
  2. I can take some pics and email them if you think that would help, I didnt get the clutch from you, I have had it a few years now. Got the new cable today
  3. Is it normal for the clutch spring bolts to bottom out before the bolt reaches the specified 10 ft lbs? Also, I use to have to compress the spring before the bolt would screw in, but now the bolt will screw in before it touches the spring. The springs are aftermarket stiffer springs, but they are within spec. Clutch plates are good and meet the thickness meets specs. Anyone else had this happen any suggestions?

  5. Did the squish test today - 0.043 in or 1.09mm
  6. I'm in KCK, I went to do the squish, but the soder I had was too thick. I'm gonna get some thinner stuff and try it.
  7. I put 22cc domes in it last night and it measured 157. I was told there is suppose to be 10psi difference per cc which should have put me at 165. The compression tester we are using is a snap on, before I used a craftsmen and it said I had 170 with the 21s. Can worn reeds affect your compression? My reeds were about 6ys old and seemed like they didn't have enough resistance. One of them was chipped where the bolt goes through. I put new replacement reeds in it last night(same time I changed to the 22s) I am lower than what I thought I should be.
  8. I will check the squish tonight and post it. If I go down to 22cc, that should be around 165psi what will be the power difference going down from 175 to 165. It should be minimal correct?
  9. I didn't really want to run race gas just because I didn't think the twice the cost for gas was worth it for minimal difference between running 21s with race gas and putting the 22s in. So I am willing to put the 22s in and run premium, but I just want to make sure everything is right and that the compression is what it should be and I am making all the power I can on premium.
  10. I'm running 21cc domes, FAST Racing dune/play port, bored .080 over, +4 timing in Kansas City around 900 ft. I tested my compression and Im at 175 psi. I heard 165 was cut off for race gas. Has anyone else had similar setup and what was their compression? Jeff thought this was high for my set up but didnt know why. He said to throw some octane booster in and I would be fine. Just wanted to get some other opinions. Has anyone else ran octane booster and at what compression. I am thinking of putting in 22cc domes so I can just run 91 octane. Any Ideas?
  11. got it fixed, one of the wires that is dissconnectd from the TORS had fell down and melted together.
  12. Im running 33's and I've checked and cleaned the carbs, i will look for any loose wires, but it is getting spark and it starts right up,
  13. banshee will start right up, idle fine, then when you give it gas it bogs down and will not accelerate. When I check both plugs they seem to be excessively wet. At first I thought it was just one cyclinder and I cleaned the pilot, but didn't help. Thought maybe broken reed, not broken, but switched the reeds in the opposite cylinder. Now, I niether cyclinder is hitting. Any one have a spark issue where it will start and idle, but when you give it gas it bogs down? Any idea witch igintion part might cause that kind of spark problem?
