fellow northerners, what do you prefer for studs?

I have an old set of razors I was going to buy a pack of 1000 screw in tire studs and go to town on, but i just saw a pic of what looked like dune paddles with the paddles cut off and snowmobile studs in them. Snowmobile studs would be alot more durabe I would think but more expensive. So what do run and how does it work for you?

run some track studs. you can find used one cheap. heres an idea

LMAO Seriously I would go with the snowmobile studs if you can afford it. In the past I have even used bolts filed to a point (file after installing)
