bennieben Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 i have a kx500 motor with a 39 mm keihin carb on it and the bike absolutely rips. i also have a banshee thats stock, but i recently came across a 2 into one intake, a 4mm stroker crank thats true and welded, timing plate, billet impellar, shift star, stock jugs with blaster pistons and a cool head. will the 39 mm work for this setup. it worked on the kx500. any help or suggestions will be appreciated. thank you in advance Quote

dajogejr Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 There is simply not enough intake signal to make a single 39 work on a stocker. 33 would probably be ideal. ON a larger, built motor, 36-39...but usually once you get to that stage, you'll want dual carbs. Quote
