quikshee Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 did you mean turn them out? in=richer did you have your needle 4th clip from the top or bottom? what's the smallest size you have, other than the 200? drop your needle a few clips leaner, (tward the blunt end) put the 310's in, unless you have 300's, set the airscrew at 1.5, and warm it up. adjust the airscrew in or out, 1/4 turn at a time,allowing 10-20 seconds for the idle to adjust, untill it idle the highest. ride around for a couple min, and you may have to go 1/4 turn in or out after that. being rich on the idle circut will effect the needle for a few seconds, untill the engine has a chance to clean up lol good lookin out AK, was a little ass backwards there. lokisbuddy Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Posted February 20, 2009 (edited) I have them on the 4th clip from the top, I really think I need a bigger main because when I took the 310 off and went back to the 320 it was like 50% better. I am gonna try putting my stock pilot back in and moving to the middle notch on the needle and see how that works out. Edit: I took the slides off the caps they may have gotten mixed up but the caps I think didnt ( I had those off too) What is a way to set my idle adjustment screw? I am gonna leave the air screw untouched because it ran good before. I think I am just rich on the pilot and lean on the needle, a pic of the slide adjustment window would help alot.
