MarineNYC Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Can you guys recommend any off-road shops that deal with S10's or might be able to help me out with some info on upgrading my tires to a larger size. I would even buy from them if they could take the time to talk to me. Every place around here is ran by a bunch of Dominican idiots. The shops around here just want to throw 20''s on it. I have a ZR2 with 2" suspension lift and a 2" body lift. I need a honest person that knows what he's talking about to school me on this. TY in advance. Quote
FadedDreams Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 I don't know how much they deal with S-10's,but you could try National Tire and Wheel. They sell all kinds of offroad tires,so they should have an idea on what works. National Tire and Wheel Quote
downNdirty Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 I just looked on superlifts website. according to them an s-10 with a 2inch lift will fit 31's. (31 x 10.50 back spacing) And since you also have a 2 inch body lift. You should be able to fit 33's without a problem. Krazy House Customs Ok Auto,4wd Monmouth Truck Quote
official_style Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 (edited) yo dood fuck all those shops in the bx, all they know is putting big ass bling rims on, and they dont even know shit about that. go to mallory kotzen in new rochelle, 20 e. main st. go thru main st in new ro, past mc donalds chevy etc, it will be on your right coming from the bx, once you pass the exxon/mobil. ask for brian he will be able to hook you up, tell him you know dan with the denali and banshees, and he should hook u up on price. there is another kid named nick who works there who has a lifted grand cherokee, so either one of them will know. i got sick of dealing with bronx mira mira tire shops and this place has always been good. http://www.mktire.com/ Edited February 4, 2009 by official_style Quote

lokisbuddy Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 I'd ditch the 2" body lift, sell the 2" suspension lift, get a 6 inch suspension lift and set her on 35's oh yeah  wait this is 4wd right? lol Quote
Damnit Bob Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 I have a 2000 Blazer ZR2, same set up as you 2"X2" and i run 32" BFG All Terrains and love em. Very nice in gravel sand and snow, OK in the mud. I kept them on my stock rims for the correct backspace. check out ZR2usa.com its a nice forum for anything zr2. Quote
official_style Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 the only thing about BFG ATs is the ride sucks. when i first got my denali, i bought a set of them and i sold them within 10days of installing them, they made it ride like shit. your suspension might be softer tho, the denalis have a hard suspension, due to the active electronic shocks, but it makes them handle really well. i would go bigger than 32", my boy just put 33s on his 08 jeep wrangler unlimted, with no lift, so you should be able to run them or bigger lifted. Damnit Bob Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 The problem is, any bigger than 32s and you will HAVE to trim the fenders. The entire opening on the zr2s is only 33" and you have to leave space for the width of the tire when you turn. I love my ATs, i do 80% of my driving on pavement and the wear is unbeatable, and with the Bilstein the ride is nice and preforms well in the trails. Quote
