anywhere between 5 minutes, and 5 years, all depends on how you ride it, and how well you maintain it.

how can i maximize the life span? what do i have to do maintain it to make last atleast a couple of years

you can run good oil, keep your filter clean and make sure your jetting is spot on..

but bottom line, if that thing wants to blow up, seize or any number of other things that can happen, it will.

I had a stock stroke cub that on the first run up the hill after some break in blew the head off. I put it back together that day with new studs and o-rings and it stayed together and ran great for 2 seasons. Only came apart now to go bigger. Like loco said just use quality oils and keep up on your maintenance and jetting and it should stay together. Nothing can be guaranteed though.

Klotz? damn man i thought you said you know your shit? had to say it lol.

You never have anything good to say...

+1 on the jetting, maintenance, and how you ride it. Use quality shit, and do everything right.

Let it warm up and cool down accordingly...don't always rail on it...

Keep it clean.

What's wrong with klotz? Ive been running klotz with my alky for years due to it not wanting to separate, and castor 927 in my gas..
