t5's are mid-top end pipes and t6's are low-mid pipes.

 

i have never really understood this because my t6s have allmost no bottom end they only like to scream ? and i rode my buddies with t5's and it was the same way never really noticed much difference in the 2 :confused:

One has a "5" in it, and the other has a "6" in it?

 

 

The T5s respond to porting better. If you are ported, or plan on porting T5s are what you want.

 

T6s are better on stock jugs, but not on ported.

im running t6's on ported motor, and im about 230lbs, and my bike will keep even or slightly pull my buddys bike thats ported with t5's....all be it iv got a timing plate and am running 20cc domes while hes running 21's, really i dont see a big diffrence in the pipes, his bike feels exactly like mine...=\

Same port jobs by the same builder? Jetting both dead on? Same riding techniques? Same lbs of air in the tires?

 

Your compression is about 11lbs higher in each cylinder (if it was sea level at least) with the dome difference.

EDIT--

 

Bike to bike there could be differences....try changing pipes and seeing if there's any difference...especially if you have someplace you can get a trap speed and shit.
