I actually a guy i know want to sell CPI big bore small flange OOF drag pipe chromed. kawiking Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 i know fouledout421,badassbanshee,austin oneal run bb oof pipes on their 4 mills... but they are cubs. and their bikes are drag bikes. unless ur just drag racing i d say no... i have a set of sb grr oof and bb shear oof s for my 421.... i ll prob just run the sb's... might try the bb's.. but i heard if u get off the pipe u cant get back in it. for a stock cyln bike.. id say no.. stay with small bore pipes. im sure the others will chime in. Blewbyu Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 I have run a set of bb on my 4mill stock cylinder bike, but with 34pjs. I still ran consistant 4.3s which are the same times I was running with the small bores I normally ran. If I were you and had the choice, id run small bores. But if you could get a killer deal on the big bores, id say run em. He means if the motor bogs or you let off and fall in rpms, it will take longer for the powerband to kick in. Quote
