whats so bad about it?

sorry i retract my statement. i was looking at the red craftsman jack that is 119 dollars. there are still a few bad reviews on this one but not as bad. so i guess that means you get what you pay for. i have seen this one on craigslist in san diego

Craftsman makes two versions of ATV Jacks, the regular 100 dollar one, and the 160 dollar professional aluminum one.

My buddy has one of the cheaper ones and its a little chinsy and is already starting to rust.

This one is pretty sweet and seams to be well built, I

i have had both.. i currently have the red and black 1

that silver 1 that u have.. the rear wheels broke off and the hoist part broke..and u cant buy replacement parts

the funny thing about craftsman, is that they mostly only make hand tools, and put their name on other brands. ie. if you need parts for a craftsman d.a., then look for the i.r. that matches, and order parts for that. so look into other brands of atv jacks, like torrin, jet, kobalt, etcetera.

oh, and when they wew baught out, they sent the manufacturing division to be run by companion. so, it may carry the same warrenty, look the same, but not manufactured at U.S. standards

the one on the craftsman website is 199. is this the same one as that. they look the same.. or is the in store price different. i wouldpay 160 for this. 199 scared me away.

I got it as a gift for my birthday so i don't know exactly how much it was, i thought she said 160 or 169 or something.

Thats a nice gift man, I'v been wanting one of those for a while but can't seem to bring myself to give up the $$ for one.

I wouldn't think anything is going to break easily on that unless really miss treated.
