seabass Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I was doing some wheelies in some soft sand and dumped it backwards. This is the first time sand was actually jammed in the silencer. I'm assuming it all blew out as I was riding but should I remove the pipe and double check that there's no sand in the pipe? I wouldn't think sand would go backwards into the cylinders while riding in a straight line but if I wheelie again with some sand in the pipes, could it travel into the cylinders? I'd rather be safe than sorry, that's why I'm asking. Thanks for any replies. Quote
shee4speed Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I couldnt imagine sand getting to the jugs. Just run the piss out of it and shoot it all out.I wouldnt worry a bit. Quote
seabass Posted December 18, 2008 Author Report Posted December 18, 2008 That's what I figured, just bugging out a little over my freshly ported cylinders. Thanks for the reply, makes me feel better. Quote
peterlocal22 Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 if you want to be sure take the silencer off and the pipe, clean them out put it back on and run it hard. although im sure your fine any how. its not like a seado jet that sucks the sand in, lol peter Quote
Dave I. Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 stick a water hose in the pipe and flush it out good Quote
