Paddles for Sand or hybrid tyres

Just undecided if i should get paddles or a good set of tyres that work great on the sand but are not paddles. I have a new banshee and km's of sand to go riding but at the moment all i seem to be doing is spinning everywhere. Not to mention getting my ass handed to me by my mates LTR-450.

 

Paddles or not?

paddles for sure. though if your stayin stalk i would probably go with a v paddle, like the itp sandstar or skat trak edge.

I went to price some tyres today. And the shop assistent told me that my banshee would not have enough power to use paddles because it is stock. - I'm calling bullshit and i correct?

yeah thats deff. bs. as long as you run a v-paddle as i stated before they will work great. also, id go with a 8 or 9 paddle until you start modding your shee.

what the hell? thats the stupidest thing ive heard. i ran my bike stock with 7 paddle extremes. had no problem pulling them. i could wheelie too. what are you wanting to do with your quad? dune or drag or both or what???
