since its winter and im bored, i want to switch both my bikes over to engine ice. what is the best/easiest way to get all of the coolant out? i am going to also install the coolant ez drain plates on both quads, so this will be easier in the future. while im doing this, should i slap in the high flow impellers? do the modquad ones have the same problem as the pro design ones? of the coolant that is in them now gets on anything painted like the frame etc, is it going to screw up the paint?

Just open all the holes and flip the bike on its sides and move around to get all the fluid out. I'm not sure on the Impellers since I had a PD shaft break right in half.Prob. just a fluke. They did replace it though.Coolant will not screw up paint.Just rinse it all off.

so basically disconnect a radiator hose, let all that shit run out, then open the bolts on both sides and tip it over. then should i blast out the radiator with like a garden hose? so the prodesign just had a bad batch i guess, how much of a PITA is it to install?

I guess bad batch. The impellar is cake to replace.Pull the side cover, pull the water pump cover. There is a "c" clip that holds in the gear.Remove the gear and pull out the shaft.Reverse to install. I never blasted the radiator.

clutch cover gasket and a water pump gasket....Use a garden hose to flush that would be fine or use a shop rag and a blow tip with an air compressor, wrap rag around blow tip try and seal radiator top with the rag and blow air through system....
