and to think i was bit chin about the markup on the 5 dollar item a few years ago

Jeff at FAST gave me a good deal on them. The filters have a 15* angle on them, so they sit flat. I think I paid like $75-80 for them and K&N spray oil, to the door.

Yea thats a good deal, and I also got the 15* really helps support them but you gotta be careful resting them on the frame without some kinda cusion. It rubbed holes in both of my outerwears in a days ride, brand new! so I ran a strip of adhesive weather stripping on the frame. there were no burs or anything rough, but just enough movement to cause it.
