OKCterror Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Ive got fmf fatties on my shee and they are starting to show some abuse. I was thinking of coating them in ceramic black but havent ever tried it. Anyone ever done this with before and after pics? Or is there a cleaner i can use to bring the shine back out?-Dan Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Chemically remove the chrome, sand, paint hi temp black grill paint. Quote
jbooker82 Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 I would shine them up the best you could. Then have them powdercoated with a translucent black. That way they are black chrome. Quote

Snopczynski Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 I had performance coatings do my pro circuits. They blasted off the nickel and ceramic coated them flat black. Look at the pic in my sig. Quote
llawndogg Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 I have a set of fmf golds that were chrome. I lightly sanded them, hit them with some hi-temp flat black paint and then baked them on my bbq lol. It sounds kinda stupid but they turned out real nice and once that paint was baked it became tough as all get out! Quote
