kodie Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I'm sending my juggs to kevin for a port job and while I'm at it I'm going to switch to engine ice. How do I fully drain all the anti-freeze out of my banshee? This is the first time for me taking juggs off any bike anything I should do/not do while doing this? Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 pull the hose off your clutch cover and let it drain. that will take care of most of it. there will be a little left in your cylinders but just dump it out when you get them off. Quote
bansheesickness Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 good choice!!! kevins the man!! if you have any questions just call him. he is very patient and will help you through anything. no matter how stupid the question sounds, just give him a ring. i must of called him 40 times durring my motor rebuild. kodie Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 I got another question. Since I've got the motor apart and the shee is down for a month or so. Should I just go for a 4 mil? Quote

Should I just go for a 4 mil? yes. but be aware that other parts such as carbs, intakes, head and pipes should be upgraded to get the full potential of a motor like that. also be aware that stock clutch assembly probably will have to be replaced to hold the extra power. kodie Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 I got pro circuits, adjustable timing plate, 2 into 1 trinity 35 carb, barnett clutch, and noss head on it right now. but im getting a chariot head in a week or so. will the single carb be enough or will i have to go back to 2? locogato11283 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 2 carbs. why are you switching heads? id stick with that NOSS. Quote
kodie Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 (edited) How big of carbs? I got a leak in one of the holes and anti freeze leaks out of it. I just got some acorn's for it but never got to puttin them on. Think the acorn will fix it? Also charriot has a black head I don't know if they just started making them but the guy told me they should be on ebay in a week or sooner. Edit: also where the leak is the head isn't cracked so I don't know how the fluid is getting threw no other one leaks. Edited November 5, 2008 by kodie Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 did you forget an o-ring? ive always run NOSS heads and never had a leak. Quote
kodie Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 no first time it leaked i bought new o-ring set from noss and it still didn't fix it. what size carbs does the 4 mil need with aggressive trail port? Quote
