Im getting ready to seal up my cases on my sled and im not sure what to use to clean the sealing surface. I used rubbing alcohol on my banshee and it seemed to work ok but seemed to leave some residue. I was thinking brake cleaner since it evaporates very quickly, what do you guys use? thanks

No problem! I also use a razor blade to remove the gasket material, but have to be extra careful not to damage the sealing surface. Green or red scotch brite pads also work quite well, just be careful not to remove any metal (light pressure, let the pad do the work).

Also when you go back together you need to make sure not to get sealer in the bolt holes otherwise when you bolt it together it will hydraulic it in the bottom of the bolt hole and could crack your case or break out the bottom of the hole.
