themudgician Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 ive been having problems with shifting at wot. i put a new shifter shaft modded from fast with modded star, and lighter spring.it shifts fine just riding around or if i shift it as soon as it gets in the powerband, but if i let it rev up to high it wont go in the next gear. i tore it down it has a billet basket, but the clutch hub has a bunch of grooves wore in it. thats all i see thats not right. could that cause this problem by not letting the cluch realase like it should. any help would be greatly appriciated Quote
C&B Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 If the inner hub is grooved up yes the clutch will hang up. Get a new one and keep youree clutch soakin so itdoesnt dry till you put it all back together. Quote

locogato11283 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 you do realize that with better parts it will make it harder to shift on the move. thats why a lot of people are going to duneable overrides. Quote
dajogejr Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Get a new inner and outer. they're less than 50 from the dealer. What mods are done to your bike? Quote
