I'll give you an example. I'm running 45 pilot, CEL needles, and 148 mains. I'm still a little rich on the bottom. A good starting point would be Cel's, 152 mains and 48 pilots. This is just my opinion, but I think it will help. Good luck. Quote
RadarRacing Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 What Pa said is exactly right. They are usaually in the 148-158 range, 48 pilot. I'll bet your bike wont rev out till it's really revving and not under a big load. I had a 400 cub and ran 155s, my 421 cub now has 148s in the same carbs. Many are 155s with pods and pipes. you need to check your needles many of them come with needles that dont work well with banshee motors. CEL nedles arent too much $ if you dont have them. Quote
dajogejr Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Yep...for a dual setup, I'll 3rd what these guys said...that main is probably WAY fat... Quote
clinton588 Posted October 31, 2008 Author Report Posted October 31, 2008 Thanks to all for the help. I will play with it a dumont this weekend. I thought it was way rich. Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 i would start with 160 main and 48 pilot and work from there. Quote
