starting in second

i have a 4 mill banshee with shears pipes in frames and 35mm carbs port work bout 80 hp and im running 20 inch gncc rear tires with a 38 rear sprocket and 15t front just downsized from a 16 to a 16 and now the 15 and have a hard time leaving in 2nd without losing the power band i used to be able to hit it every time with stock carbs and t6 pipes it definatly runs good everywhere else but cant get her outa the hole. i donno if the tires hook really well and i got a new farm and sand toys clutch and its not slipping at all or what but i dont wanna gear down any more but what else can i do to get her to get out of the hole?

Have you just tried coming out in 1st then? because with that gearing it would be like 2nd wouldn't it? I had 13/39 and it didn't like 2nd gear out the hole compared to the 14/41.
