Misssppelllleddd Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I've seen them for utility quads and some sport quads but never seen a kit for a Banshee. Quote
ex400 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 i bet there are kits for that because they make them for quadzillas to. so im guessing that they make them for a banshee Quote
Misssppelllleddd Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Check in the parts department at the nearest bike shop? Thats where I've seen most kits for other quads. Quote

Misssppelllleddd Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 If you do then post some pics! Quote
bansheejoel Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 pretty gay. Why not just buy a snowmobile. Ive saw alot of vids about these and they seem to rob alot of power and not put the little bit of power you have left to the ground for shit. On 4x4 quads thats cool b/c you got 4 wheels spinning them and alot more torque. A kit on a banshee or zilla is a waste of money...there like $4k take that money and buy a f-7 firecat or a rx1 Quote
prossett Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Or something like this: http://www.sand-x.com 0-60 in 2.8 secs, on sand Quote
STINKYDELUXE Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I have e-mailed several companies about these kits they all said the same thing " solid axle quad don't turn worth a shit so we don't make them" not to mention they lose 30% of there power. I have thought about rigging the skis up for my quad. Quote
Biztalbin Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 LOL damn thats funny, I have tried teh dirt ties in the snow and it sucked, the tractions filled with snow and it was all over, icey slicks. So if your going to do snow mebbe tracks will be the ticket. I never tried teh paddles, it just doesnt snow enough in Oregon to be worth the effort. But you snow zone boyz should be able to have some fun with them toys. In Oregon here I'll just have to wait for the Aqua Treads ;p Can you say Boyant !! lol G Luck with the Snow!! Quote
LiftdT4R Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 They tested these kits in Dirt Wheels, a WHILE back on a Warrior and Banshee, hey said the Banshee pulled damn decent, but, the tracks are a lot narrower then standard snowmbile tracks, so they bog down in the powder. If the price is right, it could be cheaper then a snowmobile. Quote
