new banshee forum (read and you will understand)

I guess i'm not really seeing the problem here either... If the guy wants to build a site and let people know about it here.. More power to him. Its not like he's making money off it... It is banshee related and I do believe the general discussion is "anything" banshee related isn't it? Starting to sound like PlanetSand around here anymore..

 

So if he wants to put the time and effort into his own site for his peeps on his side of the globe..

Its not like its gonna stop people from coming to the HQ any less.

 

I think the HQ has bigger problems to worry about then this guy trying to get a site up and going that's

not going to affect the HQ in the slightest..

Well, you don't know alot do you? We are probably one of the countries with the most banshees, besides usa. We own a massive cut in the quad/dirt bike market, one of the biggest in the world.. We have the Highest dunes in the world in Namibie (search google) and where the dunes is, theres the banshees! South Africa is the gateway of Africa..

 

wow man i wasnt even being a dick to you. just saying that i didnt know there was much banshee intrest in africa. your right i dont know alot about africa just what i see on tv, and from what there is i never seen a quad there. this site has different groups of people that are from the same areas that talk and have events within there area just fine. i'm from MI so if there is a ride at silver i will click it. so in theory if there was a ride going on in south africa everyone from that area can read it from here. save ur bashing for the people who are dicks. i'm not saying ur site is dumb just saying this one is already set. if it isnt broke dont fix it.

One must choose your words carefull here, otherwise you just ensult someone, thats not what my intentions was. It just amaze me when people say that they did not even know there is electricity in South Africa. They also think its just black people, I am white also... We have satellite HD tv, broadband internet and all the things you have there, yes we do get them later than you guys. I am actually looking down from my treehouse to n lion who is trying to get up here... hopefully my computer an flatscreen tv wont get in his way... wait let me shoot this bogger.. no its alright im not trying to piss you off or anything im just agreeing with other guys and get some threads started and if you get enough and enough input and talk on it with other guys then maybe you can get the mods. to make it a section or something. like im not trying to stop you from making your site im just saying my oppinion. but, oppinions are like asses, everybody has one.

thats not the point.. the point is banshee hq is gonna get far more hits that his site will.. thats plain and simple. he would be better off posting things here on a site thats already well known for banshees.. i mean this site is already global. think about how many members we have from other countries.. i think it just makes more sense..

 

but its his deal, and more power to him if itll get him more riding buddies.

 

and are you really being serious about the PS remark? this thread wouldve been deleted before anyone wouldve read it on PS. you can post whatever you want to here.. i was just offering the guy another option. this site is nothing like and never will be anything like PS.. and you know that.

Loco, read your last sentence, thats truth, so whats the point.. But like I said, we need a South African domain, the thing is that on other big forums, 1 I know has about 120 SA members and just 2 are active, because its a international domain, almost half of them with the same usernames are active on South Africn sites, they won't get attracted as they would been with a SA domain.. We will not agree on this, but i'll respect all opinions..
