Why you stressin all the small stuff? Nobody is going to see those flaws in your polished parts when that trinity motor is in the back of the pack. LOL. But no seriously if I were to throw a number out there as to how many aftermarket parts just dont bolt on without modification I would say 50%. Thats my experience. Get some sleep man. The banshee will be there tomorrow. And you have 16 days before the Pismo trip. Plenty of time. Quote
flyhighprerunner Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Why would you be stressed over something thats not gonna have lights on it anyways? Quote
LiftdT4R Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Stress reliever.... I just used to drink after I finished working on my shit. Quote
Washburn Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 absolutly great for the liver. Im proud of you Jason. I see you like the 101 as well. Whoever buys the 80 proof wild turkey are hippies! Quote
OKCterror Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 when my carbs leaked like none other 2days before my sahara trip i wasnt stressed, i just pack more gas to solve the situation.lol. But when something doesnt fit, be happy cause you get to mod it to fit then tell everyone you did it. Thats the best part Quote
docjcwatson Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 That's what I have been doing wrong this whole time. I was drinking during the build! Quote
xXBlessedWithDeathXx Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 I get stressed when i need an expensive part/mod and soon as i get the cash shit comes up and runes it. what ever happened to being fifteen with no cares in the world? bills suck. Quote

KaosBanshee44 Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 Man i'm so maticulous about my things and ADD with stuff i do the same thing. Don't feel bad i wipe my chrome every other day when i get off work cause i see stuff on it. I'm probably worse than you man..lol Quote
dajogejr Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 I've found a happy medium. I look forward to getting my shit in the mail....but don't go run out to the garage to put it on. However.... I don't wait till the last day, either. Nothing I hate worse than last minute shit, last day... Then again, I haven't done shit to my bike (other than plastic/seat) in a long time (I did put a new axle and carrier on, however)...so, my pre race routine is draining the carbs and changing the plug....LOL... KaosBanshee44 Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 I helped you with some bling dave, did you ever get that brake part on? Quote
dajogejr Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 (edited) My bike is at my buddies house, I haven't gotten it back from Labor Day... My buddy needs a rear master. Told him he could have mine once I put the polished bad lad on.... They actually broke the wheelie bar mounting point where it bolts to the rear shock...so, gotta get that tab welded back on...too.
