The direct drive one is a HUGE improvment over stock, I PCed mine black too, and put it on my build bike. If you ever had to change the clutch out on the trail it would be 10 times easier. Also, they do away with all those crappy useless stock seals that end up leaking.

Why is your cover foggy? It looks like you have gotten some moisture in the tranmsion an it has fogged over the inside.

 

i dont know why its foggy. im changing the oil today so ill see if it still does it. it was warmed up in the pic

Just a guess, but coolant may be getting into the oil. Check to see if it's like a milky white when your changing it. If it is then you mostl likely have a bad seal between the water pump and clutch cover.

it wasnt milky color. hope it aint the coolant leaking into the bottom end that sounds disasterous. :unsure:
