  1. I was driving the other day and I saw this on the side of the road. The drivier was sitting on the rail and was PISSED. A cop was looking inside the car and jotting down some stuff, the guy was laughing his ass off! And yes it was a woman that did this
  2. We will be there dude, getting there Friday morning about 11am. We stay at the bottom of the hill where the drags are held. FS3000, SLC3905, FS2600 and a Attitude 19' Toyhauler is what we will have in our group. hrmm I wanna go!
  3. Just do it. Everybody else doesnt give a f*ck about the rules, you shouldnt be the only one following them. As for the rockets vs. CPI's I'm gonna be getting my rockets soon, I have seen a dyno run and it was pretty good the rockets came on sooner and revved higher than CPI's did and they made the same peak HP, and they made a little more torque (like .1 more) From other people I have heard that the rockets have a little more low end than CPI's but they feel it doesnt have as much peak HP. And for the record, reas isnt a dealer for GRR he is just very happy with the service he got from there just like how alot of people here like their shops. Theres nothing wrong with that at all.
  4. All you need is a longer chain, extended brake cable and revalve the shock. And it should be ready to go!

  6. I just received this email this morning. I thought you guys would like to read it. ****** Dear Friend, Thank you for contacting me regarding the Endangered Species Act. I appreciate your concern and comments regarding this important issue. The Endangered Species Act (ESA) was signed into law on December 28, 1973, by President Richard Nixon. "Nothing is more priceless and more worthy of preservation than the rich array of animal life with which our country has been blessed," he said. "It is a many-faceted treasure, of value to scholars, scientists, and nature lovers alike, and it forms a vital part of the heritage we all share as Americans." Thirty years after he signed the landmark law, President Nixon's words still ring true. Recognizing what would forever be a noble and important cause, Nixon sought to give the government both the authority to make early identification of endangered species, and the means to act thoroughly to conserve and recover them to healthy populations. Unfortunately, success stories in species recovery due to the ESA are few and far between. According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, only 12 of the law's roughly 1300 protected species have recovered. On its thirtieth anniversary, it is now clearer than ever that the Endangered Species Act has failed. The law has fallen victim to unintended consequences, partisan politics, and counter-productive lawsuits filed by environmental organizations. These forces have rendered the ESA a "broken" law that is in desperate need of updating and modernizing. Congress has an obligation to address these unintended consequences and refocus the law's application on species recovery. Many observers of the Endangered Species Act have gauged the law's performance on how many species are listed annually and have avoided extinction. However, merely preventing extinction is not a long-term measurable success, nor was it the intent of the law. The law was intended to conserve and recover America's endangered species. There has been less that a .01 percent rate of success, and that is unacceptable. There must be more accountability for results in the ESA. We have to update and modernize this law for the 21st century, change our approach, and focus on improving our results in recoveries. The Resources Committee plans to hold a number of hearings this year on legislation in regards to the ESA, including H.R. 2933, the Critical Habitat Reform Act, authored by Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-CA) and H.R. 1662, Sound Science for Endangered Species Act Planning Act, introduced by Rep. Greg Walden (R-OR). H.R. 2933 merges the critical habitat component of the ESA with the larger effort of recovery planning, while H.R. 1662 addresses the importance of using sound science when listing species under the act. Recently I issued a report on the ESA entitled, The ESA at 30: A Mandate for Modernization. I urge you to read this report on the website for the Committee on Resources, http://resourcescommittee.house.gov/, for further information on the history and consequences of the Endangered Species Act. Thank you again for contacting me and please do not hesitate to do so again in the future. I will continue to keep your views in mind as the Endangered Species Act is brought before the Committee on Resources. Sincerely, Richard W. Pombo Chairman Committee on Resources **** Although this email isnt really giving any guarantees this is still a big step in making things right!
  7. Well said Walt! The whole fight over who's site is better is friggin stupid, the people over at Bluetraxx have their own reasons for going over there as do we for coming over here. It's pointless to go up to somebody and tell them theyre stupid because they enjoy going somewhere over the other.
  8. You could get a set of Quicksand a arms for $500 and some works dual rates w/rezzies from alba for $489.00, you'll still have enough cash for braided brake lines and billet clamps.
  9. I know it's really late to be replying in this thread but I have to give props to Walter because he is probably the nicest person I know. This guy will bend over backwards to help out a guy that is in trouble. Walt thanks for everything you have done for me in the past, you're a cool MOFO and the only thing that I regret is that I couldnt make it out to roostfest to meet and ride with you.

  18. Use a soft cloth to buff it. If you use something too rough it will scratch the metal.
  19. I would strongly recomend not putting armoral on the seat! it gets sooo slippery you wont be able to stay on Yeah but its funny as shit watching somebody trying to ride a bike with a slippery seat!! Another good way to make your bike look good is that you could spend alot of $$$$$ and get a custom paint job! I've seen a kit in stores before that's supposed to remove small scratches and make your plastics look brand new again but I dont know if that works.
