I couldnt agree with you more Banchetta! I cannot tell you how many times I've made a chick cry/take legal action because of that. However it was Holyman that turned this into a pissing match, what would you do if I called you a woman? How is that different than about 85% of the members that post here? Plus she only posts in general discussion orthe roosting room, forums that were made to discuss whatever the hell you wanted, if you dont like what she says then you can just ignore it. Ive got Trinity intakes and theyre really nice good quality and they do their job. As for performance im not really sure youre gonna find a set of intakes that will give you a serious edge over others. However I wouldnt reccomend taking out the crossover tube. At a certain part of the RPM (depending on the motor and reeds) the draft through the carbs is reversed temporarily since the reeds do not shut in time. This reverse draft creates a rich condition. A boost bottle eliminates this as the charge gets pushed into the bottle instead of back through the carb. There are miced opinions about it. But alot of very respectable builders have told me to use it. Plus it doesnt hurt to keep it on.

Chaparral is a wonderful place to get tires if you go to their store in person. The people that work there arent really too bright. To be honest after going there a few times it makes you wonder how some of them made it past childhood. If you go to their store in person and you know exactly what you want then youre definately gonna get a better deal. Just make sure you know EXACTLY what you want because I wouldnt trust about 90% of the people that work there. Sorry you got screwed man, it really didnt come as a surprise to me. Those people are just weird everytime I come out of that store I always feel stupider than when I came in.

They have standard pipes. There's a guy that sells them on ebay, I think his reserve price is 400 bucks for chrome pipes. I know Matt Shearer will build you a custom set of pipes for around 540-560 bare, its up to you if you want to chrome it after that. People have used fibers from FZR's before. My builder even reccomended them to me. If I wasnt installing a lockup I wouldve put those in my bike fo sho!

I forgot to add that for a little less than what the chrome rockets sell for you can have Matt Shearer make you a custom set of pipes (that are made to your porting specs)
