clean it often, but dont oil it, the oil will stick in the pores and choke off air flow. its more splash proof then it is water resistant, if mud sticks to it, the same as iol, it will block air flow, but running the single carb, you definitly want it. as far as cleaning it, ive used the meat method and ive also used the filter cleaner as well, the meat method cleans faster and is cheaper. after you clean your filter, oil it, let it soak in and slide it on, your good to go.

ditch that hunk of crap, and the wiring too. unless you want the whole set up, i might have one in the garage. but imo, ditch it !

definitly worth it !! a denton bracket might work on the ohlins if its not to long, whats some measurements of it ? i can compare it to my denton and let you know if it will work, shoot me a pic if you got one. later

they use to have them on the old site, i havent checked in awhile though. imo it aint really worth it. i rode a shee with it on there and it wasnt a really big noticable difference. i played with it slow speeds and wide open and i wasnt impressed. just my opinion though.btw this was a fmf prepped racer.

ask them if they can get d.o.m. tubing. any metal supplier should be able to get you whatever you want. if you dont mind me asking, what are you building ? dom and chromoly are in full stock at all times around here.

keep riding, even if you get arm pump, go slow during practice, drink lots of water too. the single carb set up really did loosen up the tension on the thumb throttle alot as well as a longer thumb throttle extension. something like this would help alot also, especially on a mx track.

damm man i got some really expensive guns laying around and dont have the time anymore, it sucks but as soon as things calm down and i dont have a million things to do were gonna go hit it up again. have fun !!

after spending a crap load of cash on ls. i will never go back to them again. love their stuff, hate their service. quicksand or janssens all the way !

because lonestar has the "name" is been out there for so long and is well known in the atv industry. janssen's been around, but not as nearly as long. if i knew what i did now about lonestars crappy customer service and screw you attitude i would of spent my money elsewear. i figured i was paying 799.00 for a set of race arms to race mx, they would at least have my back if i messed them up, damn i was wrong. but i know if i had quicksands or janssens id have a hope that they would help me out and get me back on the track. its basically all in the name. why else would brand ls. sell arms for double the price of brand x, and still sell more then them ? side note: i would not do business with ls again. they have a nice product but there customer service pissed me off to the point where i wouldnt go back, think they would call to make good ? i know quicksand and janssen would.

ok dude, here we go, first off, your comparing lonestar to janssen. janssen is a much smaller company that will stand by its customer, lonestar has been at it and to them these arms are a dime a dozen, they dont give a damn what you do, there in it to get paid. and do. now go to www.lsracing.com and check out their prices, whole nother ball game there. so my piont being, if he got LONESTAR a arms for that price, he got a killer deal. if he were to get janssen arms and have to spend more to repair and replace them, then to get a new set, then we all would be hammering on him.

would anyone be interested in going on a desert ride ? i think it would be cool to rip it up out there as well as dumont but like duece said, usually head out in the desert away from dumont. the sands gonna be bitchin and the desert as well, great riding in both spots. im bringing my dirt tires too, anyone else, me and duece can be your tour guides at 6th gear pined ! ahhh i cant wait !!!!
