i had the fastest green machine on the block, it went BRAMMMM BRAM BAHHHH BAHH BRUM BRUM. then the plastic tires went so mom bought me a big wheel and i had the fastes loudest big wheel on the block. then i turned 4 and was stuck on a old honda z50 with training wheels and i didnt have to make BRUM BRUM sounds. its been fun raising hell ever since.

Really? umm no, the chromeing process makes metal weaker. powder coating them and having them heated at the proper temp may mess with the molicules in the metal but by no way does it make it weaker, if the metal got so hot it was glowing, then it would make it weaker, but powder coating is alot cheaper then polishing or chrome and alot more durable then just regular paint. just my thoughts though. later

you could even try some dekote from eastwood first. it will eat the clear coat off without messing up the metal, then polish the crap out of them and take them down to a powder coat shop and have them shoot it with a 110 clear, just remember once the new coats on, you can see any spots you missed while polishing them. if you have the time and energy to do it, i applaude you. just remember what the other guys said. lots of work !!! later

you could make a killing off of polishing, if you have all the means and the tools to do it you could come up. try getting a few things and do it up, post pics on here, mabey with some prices. that would at least be a start as to where you stand.

i have the sst's and i dont think a shorty silencer will bolt up to it, the sst's have sst silencers only. even though most have said the sst's were designed for a stock motor you can still run them on a ported motor. i have a mx/trail port with the sst's and they seemed to help side by side with the motor alot. just dont go with some big ass port job and youll be fine. i only rode a stock shee with sst's on it along time ago and it felt pretty damn good to me for just having pipes on it. it kinda opened it up through out the rpm range, unlike the fattys that made if feel weak on the bottom and fast as hell in the mid going into the top, like led said above, do a search, there was tons of info on sst's. later

when me and my wife go on trail rides we use the ear piece with the little mic on out cobra micro talk radios. they have a little noise being their cb radios but it kicks ass, and there cheap. only downfall, you have to push the button to talk but i rigged mine up so if i want to talk i hit the button on my left grip and i can talk, you have to get use to it though, now its fine when we use them. but best of all, for trash talking, being its cb, all your friends can get in on it. the chatter box comunications is only a 2 way, i think.
