first off, does your uncle know what the hell he is doing ? if it were me, my only option would be to take it to a shop that does it, and have them mill your stock head till you can save up for a port and polish with a new head and domes. just m.o. though. later

pro taper kx bend, or anything else with a kx bend is pretty comfy, also a cr bend is a little more better feeling to me as far as control. but id take eighter one.
