  1. Congratulations!!!!!! She's as cute as my Lily.
  2. I checked out RMATV, and its $44.00 per side for just the lower a-arms. I think I'd try my luck at the dealer for that price. Anyone here have a complete set of a-arm bolts, dust caps, and bushings?? Please PM me if you do. Stan
  3. LMFAO As far as someone having a problem with someone else "stealing" a picture: The deal with copyright laws is that some people want to be compensated for using either their work (the person taking the picture) or be compensated for the use of their image (the person in the picture being taken) Every picture in a magazine is copyrighted. You might say they have a problem with someone using their pictures with out permission. They paid a photographer a chunk of change for his work, possibly compensated the person in the picture for their time and use of what ever bike they are riding, and then spent the cash to print that picture in their magazines. You spend $4.00 on a magazine, but you don't own the rights to the pictures. You just basically get the right to see what they produced. The pictures I've taken aren't worth shit. I use them on my site, but if someone else uses them, I'd at least like the credit. Its my bike, I took the picture, and its on my site. All of which I've paid for.
  4. OMFG I'm laughing my hucking ass off at that one. Huckleberry... I aint heard that word in a decade.
  5. That is something that me and muh pops have been talking about. If I can get shit moving in a more forward direction with the one I'm building, we are going to try to reproduce what I have. I have drawings for nearly every part that I need, so little to no out sourcing for ATV parts would be needed. The only problem is going to be the source of the engines, and the differences that go along with them. If I can scrape together the working capitol for it, I plan on doing another turn-key bike that will be for sale, and I might offer a frame/engine combo that the buyer finishes in his spare time when his wife isn't looking.
  6. Invaluable is a word I use for mine.
  7. Thats completely fucking awesome! I see they've approached it very similar to how I did, except they left the lower a arms and swingarm pivot and raised the upper a arms, where as I chopped and raised everything but that. Looks like they did one hell of a job.
  8. If everything is paid for, why not keep it?? Just tell the old lady shes parking out at the fuckin street so you can have room in the garage for your toys. Hell, I'd have a dozen of them if I could.
  9. You mean a buck a poop right? Or do they charge by weight?
  10. I have a -2 in stock with skid plate mounts, all bearings, bare finish ready for a good home. PM me if you're interested in a price. Stan
  11. I have relatives in Pahrump. The place aint to bad for being some town in the middle of nowhere. Lost some money @ Terribles Casino. Who ever said always bet on black was full of shit. Me and my cousin lost like $200 betting on roulette.
  12. Isn't Type F ATF for Fords??? You don't put diesel in the gas tank do you?
  13. I remember that story. You should have told the guy "Whachoo messin wit ese, dohn you know I'm loco??" then start throwing gang signs. He would have shit his Depends.
  14. It could be a bearing, or if the impeller melted its a blob of melted plastic knocking on the conch shell of the pump housing. Does the noise speed up when you accelerate??
  15. Awesome. I'll check that out, and send them an email with my questions.
  16. They don't put much into those 250's and 500's do they, both in the styling and the performance. Kinda look like a simple commuter bike if you were goin to college or something and had a job after school doin stuff.
  17. I think the water pump can make a knocking noise as well.
  18. http://www.sportbikez.net/bikepics/medium/1075865626.jpg Buddy of mine got one this last summer. Around $8,000 out the door, and his insurance is through Kawasaki. Its ungodly cheap because they don't require full coverage. I think they figure if you total the bike out, they aint going to get any more money out of you or your next of kin. I'd have one, but the drivers in this state are out of their ever lovin fucking minds.
  19. http://www.razorbackatv.com/Shocks.htm Anyone here ever use the Competiton model or the coil over model Marvin Shaws? I want to use the Competition model on The Suicide Machine (thanks Wallrat, but isn't that the name of a band??) but I don't know shit about them, and haven't found shit on them, except what you see in that link. Any links or input are appreciated. I do know I'll have to buy a nitrogen refilling kit, and pick up a bottle of nitrogen to refill them if I ever need to raise the psi or if I rebuild. I have also seen some people running 2 rears on a +12 extended swingarm of a drag bike. They said in the article that it was set up that way to give better control over jounce and rebound due to lower internal pressure than to have one of them pumped up to the nuts.
  20. Oh my god. Seriously. I don't think there is a spot in utah that gets that cold with wind chill taken into account. That reminds me. I saw an episode of Ship Mates last year some time where the couple dating got sent to Nova Scotia. I guess the woman had been yammering on and insulting the guy for the whole show, and when they stepped onto the pier of some city they stopped in, he turned around to face her, and pushed her and the 4 bags of crap she was holding into the bay. That water had to be like 35 degrees.
  21. I thought of doing something like that, but not like that at all really.... more of a ramp in the front to direct moving air up to the radiator, but in all actuality, if its running that hot, its time for an electric fan.
  22. LMFAO!!! Yeah, I guess so
  23. LMFAO Kinda like when you can't park the sausage cart in Taco Town.
  24. My neighbor up at the shop is a tree trimmer. I don't know how the fuck he does it. Last winter it snowed like 18 inches in 2 days, and he was out cutting down limbs that had fallen down on powerlines n shit. I did actually ask him once how he takes working in that weather and all he said was "Just gotta dress for it." WTF? ITS LIKE 5 DEGREES OUT WITH AN EAST WIND BLOWING IN AT AROUND 20 MPH! I wish everything I had was the exact same as it is, except 200 miles south. That would be perfect.
  25. Iif you buy the parts with a (link---->>) POSTAL MONEY ORDER what could it hurt?
