  1. Happy Birthday!!
  2. Mine will. They bolt right up. http://www.dunedevilinc.com/index.php?acti...epart&partid=42
  3. 2 "G"'s could be spent on just the engine alone. I'd spend as much as I could between suspension and engine work, in that order. If you want to "step up" your banshee a significant amount in performance and appearance, you'll need to drop closer to 4-5 "G"s to do it right. If you don't plan on blingin it out, I'd save closer to 3 "G"s. You'll still be amazed how fast the cash will go.
  4. Agreed. Some of the biggest problems can be solved with simple preventative maintanence. Feel free to ask any questions about any thing. Like stclark said, at one time or another we were all at the same point in our knowledge. Some of us are still there in fact.
  5. I swing the kick starter out, then I crouch beside my Banshee. I summon my most fierce inner strength, then I yell "JUDO CHOP!" and chop that fucker. Usually it just starts up on its own before I even make contact cause I'm such a bad motherfucker.
  6. I used to make the cam followers, oil pump gear mounts, and the parts for the turbos for the bigger marine Detroit Diesel engines a while back. Some of the biggest fucking engines I've ever seen. An oil pan 4x the size of my bath tub, with a 15" hole through the side where a rod siezed on the crank then exited through the oil pan some how. That pan was like 1.250 thick steel. They also used 6 1/2 gallon oil filters. The dyno testing room ran a 6 inch water line from the engine to a 15,000 gallon pool on the roof to keep it cool while they tested it. Insane shit.
  7. LMFAO Is there anyway to make it 1/2 Syrup of Epicac??
  8. With Allstate I was told to hang on to any receipts I had for aftermarket shit. I might not need to buy the extra insurance if I didn't want to, and there is a chance if I can prove what I had on the bike, they would pay a percentage of the aftermarket parts price. They said probably %20-%40. Not too bad for not paying any extra. I can however buy supplimental for above and beyond what I the Kelly or BB value is.
  9. Don't the big diesel engines have something like 50:1 compression ratios???
  10. I can't guarantee the answer is correct or even related, but I'll guarantee I'll have an answer.
  11. That fucken hang over I had driving home is still reverberating in the back of my head somewhere. "IM STILL HERE!" lol.....I felt like I had died..... But no, I won't be there this time. I got a bike to build so I can keep up with you guys next time we meet. I'll bring extra tooth brushes.
  12. Is this the thread wherer Lefty has the atv model on a piece of string?? I was thinkin about that video not too long ago. I had to delete it for space on this HD.
  13. I've seen yellow, orange and blue mountain bike tires, but never an ATV tire... Odd....
  14. LMFAO Oh god Its hurts to breathe. I really hope someone buys that. That beats all.... maybe if it were haunted it would sell quicker. You could start mass producing them I bet.
  15. GWAR had damn well better get in
  16. LOL I also have the drawings already made. I'm just looking for a quick and easy solution until I can get this bike in the sand.
  17. I'd go with a slider due to the increased surface area over the chain. It will reduce the amount of wear that you would normally see on a roller that makes contact over about 10 degrees versus laying nearly flat on a slider. I made a couple of rollers out of Nylon last year because Nylon is some tough shit. 1 trip is all it lasted. I came home from Dumont with about 1/4" or less of roller protecting my swingarm. If it were a slider, you probably wouldn't even think I had ever used it other than the huge fucking grin I had on my face for the next 4 months.
  18. Agreed. Even if it did anything, I doubt you would notice it. You wouldn't be making huge gains or you'd see Banshees running around with no end caps on the silencers. When I was in your boat, wanted some power but couldn't afford pipes, I got my head milled down, the fly wheel lightend and the timing advanced. Bought a 2:1 and jetted up a little. It added quite a bit of grunt for under $200. It would over heat alot easier due to the restricted exhaust, but I lived with it for a year until I could get my T-5's
  19. I plan on lightening the front hubs on my project bike by popping a hole in the webs. I was thinking 1.000 but I don't want to take too much out and risk an integral failure. Anyone have any experience on a hole size that would lighten it enough for racing but not compromise a significant amount of strength?? I also thought about making the holes more of an ellipse or even something like a drop shape if I have enough room for my tooling to get in there at it.
  20. I had really long hair in highschool too. Same situation. Hell I didn't even drink until I was 22.
  21. Sad to hear. My buddys dog of 7 years ran away after a wind storm blew one of his fences down. The dog had scratched his collar off about 2 days earlier and he hadn't got him a new one yet. Goin on 8 weeks. Nothing at the county lockdown , so we think someone adopted him.
  22. Thats what I'm thinking. The material must be springy with a high yeild strength. I'm thinking either 1144 or 4340. Have no idea on the hardness though.
  23. FREE AXLES AND PIPES?? WHERE THE FUCK DO I SIGN UP??
