I Want To Give A Special Thanks To.............
Cotton eyed Joe replied to got1banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'd like a full ride report as soon as you PROPERLY break that beast in. I got a slim tax return this year, but I'm working on other avenues to sneak a +4 and 12 port into my banshee before summer ends. Just once this year I want to not only beat my buddys up the hills, I want to leave them wondering what in the hell just happened. When I do it, the only one thats going to know is my dad because he'll ask me what the hell I'm doing tearing my engine apart, and when will I be done, because he'd like to use his bench again this year. -

C&B. I got a few more days of real work to get out, then I have about a week to get everything together, polished and painted (not everything though ) etc.. If this shit I have doesn't turn into pneumonia on me I plan on wrenching and finishing sun up until I can't take anymore. Should work out to the night before I'll be running to the Yamaha dealer for a flag. OO I need to order that other headlight from K&K so it gets here before I leave. Damn, I don't want to be running around with only one headlight on. lol. -
very true. It takes a life time to earn respect, but only minutes to lose it. If someone doesn't answer your question, then maybe search the forums. Some people won't answer a question that was asked just recently, or one that was answered over and over and over. You may not have seen the particular thread that has already been answered, and its back only a page or two. If the search function doesn't give you the desired results, post your question, state that you searched and didn't find what you were looking for. Someone else my just post a thread that they found with the search.

POOR STAN but i'm sure it is a verry nice frame Damn right. Never saw a frame go for less, but then again, I wasn't looking on eBay. The one I got was just fine.

Thats what I'm doing. Bringing the stock POS silencers so I can say "Sure Mr. Fishcop, I got spark arrestors right here. Lemme put them on for you." Then toss them back into the bed of my truck after he leaves. -

LMFAO!! You just brought back some memories with that one!!! Use to be friends with a girl, and her brother was a meth head. One day he comes out to see my band play, and he strikes up this conversation with me.... he says.."Hey....everytime I look at stuff...I...SEE...TRIANGLES. LOOK THERES ONE! THERES ANOTHER ONE!!!" What do you say to that? Later my buddy asked me if he opened up a geometry book if he'd see people. LOL!!!! -

You are so screwed. Is there any chance you can sell them, and get tix for The Blue Man Group? If you are going to be there for a few days, check out the digs on the strip. New York New York is kinda cool with its roller coaster. I'd ride it if I were you I also liked the M&M Factory, but $15.00/lb for "custom" M&M's is kinda ridiculous. Stay away from Circus Circus....total dump IMHO For the most part, a hotel casino is a hotel casino, but they are still fun to visit. Check out that Treasure Island thing out in front. You'll see the mobs of people waiting. Its aight if you've never seen it. There are probably some buggy manufacturers out there you could go visit, but after 15 minutes of checking out $80,000 buggys, its time to move on. There's a Walmart in Henderson. Uh....go rent some of those little Italitan scooters (across from the Mirage I'm thinking) and attempt to cruise up and down the strip. Are you flying straight in to LV? If you happen to stop in SLC first, then go to LV, sit on the left side of the plane, and you'll be able to see a birds eye view of Sand Mountain Utah. You can see the razor back, and a few quads if you are lucky. I've seen it from 33,000 feet now about 4 times and its kinda coo. -

But when you do it, do you do it in circles? -
I think its Iridium that is used in catalytic converters as well. I think its a platinum alloy, and platinum is a catalyst between hydrogen (hydrocarbons) and oxygen to make water. Plus the heat that it can attain from the exhaust makes the reation easier.

What kind of biscuits? Home made soda biscuits like my mom makes, or hockey puck gonna build a house of bricks biscuits my mother in law makes. Er...wait...thats wrong...their more like black and tan play doh when they come out of the oven. I would suggest stopping to make stomach happily every 10 minutes or 4 km. Which ever comes first. Also make sure wife is asleep at home. This makes for happily riding stomach time.

Methods So That The Shee Does Not Get Stolen
Cotton eyed Joe replied to xt45's topic in General Banshee Discussion
45mm = 45 x .03937 = 1.77165" LMFAO 800mm = 800 x .03937 = 31.496" or 2.624 FEET!! LOL!!!! Also a gun fan, but no cash for anything other than my .44mag DE, that I have hit head shots on a paper target at 60 yds. Takes some aiming, and the gun weighs about 7lbs loaded, so its not like I'm capping off rounds like Im in South Central. Muh dads got the .45 acp 1911, and a snubby hidden hammer double action .357 mag. -
Huh, Looks like I'm a PRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shit, Im a professional jackass.

Buy it now Price: C $250.00 WTF???? Thats still like $200 or so US. I have a set in my garage that I will give away to anyone that wants them, if they pay shipping. LMFAO Can't wait for Nyuks reply.
-
Shit sometimes I have to do that just to get them on the stock carbs. Good tip though.
-
I paid $600. No papers. Its worth that IMHO papers or not.

If things go smooth at Dumont (By that I mean if nothing blows up on me) I might make it out to SM Utah for either a day, or for the weekend, kind of depends on work. Any one else going out that weekend? There might be a small group of us going, not too sure yet. I know finding someone out there is a complete joke, but I make an effort to cruise the face/freeway to look for people. I find a lot of people, the problem is, I don't know any of them.

In all seriousness, not wearing a helmet is a foolish act. But on the lighter side of things, it sounds like he rides like a 12 year old girl scout, so you'll be having a blast laughing at him up until the day he paralyses himself.

LMFAO! Little red LEDs zipping left and right. Fake as shit tach and digital speedometer that goes so fast you can't read it, for a full minute........ I don't like the all black. I like all black plastic, then TONS of chrome and billet. Maybe a set of 36 C's on board.

0-60 Mph Banshee Acceleration?
Cotton eyed Joe replied to evilwizzard666's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I think I read about Blue Deuces banshee that at 75 mph, he gently tugs on the handle bars, and rides a wheelie to 120 mph, but then he has to sit it back down because it gets too windy. I think mine would take off into the stratosphere if I weren't careful. -
Keep your head up man, and remember the good times. Like I said last week, this is NOT a day I look forward to. Best wishes Marc. ~Stan~

Go get a grease zerk from Lowes hardware/home improvement. 1/4-20 thread. Use a #7 drill (.201), then a 1/4-20 tap. Be sure to clean out any chips that get inside the pivot tube.

Affenschwanz - ape-dick THATS ME!!!!

I'll be making some billet carriers here soon as the lathe is up and running again. I don't see a reason for running 2 bearings per side, so mine are going to be a single bearing style, grease zerk etc. Thinking around $165 with brake mount, spacers for brake mount, snap ring, adjusting tool, bearings, lip seals and spacer.

Cb71rs or what ever his sn is (sorry I can't remember it exactly right now) I think he powders frames, and he's in New Jersey.

The guy that did my first bit of engine work told me .019. I guess it doesn't really matter as much as I thought.
