  1. Why in the fuck do you need a parking brake? That should be the first thing to go on any banchee.
  2. He was being sarcastic. You obviously missed it. The point he's trying to make is that if it's a HILL bike, you should try to keep it as simple as possible. Do you really want to try to lug a remote starter around in the sand? And why run an ignition that needs a battery if you really DON'T need it? If you're building a hill only bike you're seriously over thinking it.
  3. LSR Sand Shark uses a Fox Float Evol on the back of it.
  4. Mud hooks gooder.
  5. No. He'd rather just be himself, a thinks he knows it all douche bag.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an iPhone5. You'd be surprised what those things can do.
  7. Bike looks good, the sticker especially.
  8. It'll be ok. Windy is coming to tune my carbs.
  9. I'm running alky next year in the sand. I bought another set of carbs for it. Carbs aren't that expensive.
  10. I'll throw someone $50 if they can get this thing sold for me.
  11. Agreed. I've had a couple of their swingarms here and they're top notch. On top of that, Roger is a super nice knowledgeable guy. He has some awesome stories about the race scene back in the day.
  12. I left him a message.
  13. Nope. I figure if they don't want to build it there must be a reason. I'm assuming liability.
  14. That's what I was thinking. I'm not going to bring up any names. You know me, if it will give me a safe advantage I will buy/build it. Both gave me the thumbs down for my type of racing. But but but it's sooooooooo strong.. No?
  15. Then how come no one recommends it for my application? I was told to not even run a titanium steering stem.. HMMMMM.
  16. Titanium flexes like crazy. My buddy that has that fast 450r in MN had his up on a jack stand one day. I put pressure on the axle while he held the bike steady. I watched that swingarm flex more than I was comfortable with. We tried the same thing with my chromoly arm and it didn't do it.
  17. And ride about 57 times better.
  18. I've got a Stage 5 Elka rear shock for sale. It has very little time on it. It's as close to new as you can get. It's set up for a 180-200 pound rider on a +10 swingarm. $750 shipped
  19. They're going to be very comparable. My 18" Fox Evols only weigh 4.5 pounds. Take off the rezzies and subtract a couple inches and they should be around 3 pounds.
  20. I'm 99.9428654% sure that Cameron will recommend PWK.
  21. ATV Galaxy
  22. Fouledout421 runs Floats on his Ziggy chassis drag bike. I've ridden it and bikes with Shaws.. I prefer the Floats hands down.
  23. Shut up. It made two passes.
  24. That's because it only made 6 passes all weekend.
