  1. Btw if anyone wants this throttle cable, I'll throw it in the mail for you. It's the one that FAST sells. It didn't work for my application. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. Is there a particular unit that’s popular for our bikes?
  3. I don’t. I can get one if needed.
  4. They are wired. LEDs. Previous owner said they work. Suggested checking to see if grounded. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. Case saver will be here tomorrow. I’m going to order a new chain. A gold x-ring. I need to to get these headlights working too. Im not that great with figuring out electrical issues.
  6. Isn’t that mostly for extended swing arms?
  7. Case saver ordered. What’s a better chain, the rental r4 atv z-ring, or EK srx?
  8. I’ll look into the swing arm as well. Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to take the bike for a test ride right now. I’m 2 weeks away from settlement on my new property, and last time I rode the bike on these back streets within 5 minutes of pulling back into my backyard, there was State Police roaming back here looking for something. If they catch me it’s a $1000 fine here in NJ and if you don’t have liability on the bike, which I don’t yet, they take the quad away for good.
  9. Any particular plastic case saver you guys recommend?
  10. Rubber pipe hangers? It already has the metal case saver. Get plastic instead?
  11. She lives! Vid didn’t turn out real clear.
  12. Been doing some reading and watching vids. Does this sound right? Air screw, turn all the way in then back out 1 turn. Idle screw, back out all the way, then in until the slide starts moving. Once slide starts moving, turn 2.5 turns in.
  13. Ok cool. Slides are synced. I just have to set the idle. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. Also, how high should these slides sit for idle? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. The slack is perfect now. Next issue. The end of the throttle cable is threaded. And the top of the fittings on the carbs is no threaded. This piece can slide in and out, which messes up the slack in the cable. Any ideas? I’m not sure if the boot at the end of the cable will hold it in place when I slide it down Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. Ok. That worked. Old cable going back on Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. Maybe I'll go back to this cable, and try to grind a little bit off the balls at the end and try to get them to fit through the fittings on the carbs Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. Jesus Christ Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. Should I just tighten the idle screw on the right carb to have the slide sit where the left one does? Or does the left need to come down a bit too? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. No, just a boot at the Y Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. Swapped out the throttle cable. I feel like I need a little more slack. Its tight. Even with the adjuster at the thumb level screwed all the way in, and the fittings on top of the carbs all the way in. The carb on the right; the slide goes all the way down. The carb on the right; the slide wont bottom down. Also, when I press the thumb lever all the way open, the carbs lift just a hair. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. I guess I'll post these on Craigslist or Facebook. I'm not shipping, it costs too much damn money. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  23. I wasn't able to weigh the wheel/tire sets because I don't have a scale here at the house. I will say the 20x11 tire setup is a decent bit heavier than the 18x10 tire setup. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. Take the hubs off, or spray them while they’re on the bike?
