  1. Maybe pipe connector hoses worn out. Definitely kicker though !!! Also check pipe springs aren't stretched where they attatch to cylinders.
  2. Buy or make your own.. South Texas Banshee... Sells a kit.. He has a lot of good ( how to ) videos on his site also.everything from motor building and checking port timing to adjusting and syncing carbs.. Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk
  3. Are you sure it is raw fuel and oil ? And not radiator fluid from a blown head gasket ?
  4. Switch wheels..see if problem follows... If not ? Switch hubs and see if problem follows. X2
  5. As long as you're using new parts.. The pitting won't hurt a thing....
  6. Recommendations straight off of FMF's website. For stock 1999 banshee under 1500 ft elevation !!! Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk

  8. AKheathen... You're absolutely right..About the color scheme.. I couldn't seem to find a super close shade of yellow for mine in a spray can..plus, the yellow we have at work was FREE.[emoji3].. So for the time being ? It's the PERFECT shade Lol.. Will definitely powder coat after the rebuild. Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk
  9. OH WOW !!!! Guess I should have proof read that first...lol... Sorry for the misprints.
  10. Lol.. I have the exact same sheet, with the exact same issue.. Doing a complete restore. So just don't have the extra cash to powder coat at this time.. Basically just painting to keep parts from rusting. I'll powder after build is done and I get a few rides on it. Your paint hid is only as good as the prep work underneath it. What brand of paint are you using.. IMO.. Rustoleum is the absolute WORST to use. Just make sure to remove all old paint and rust. Sand with 120 grit paper.. Then MOST importantly..clean surface.. I use 50 to 70 % rubbing alcohol. Cause it's cheap, drugs quick and works good. DO NOT use 90%. It leaves an oily film and paint comes right off. After cleaning, DO NOT touch parts with bare skin... Now prime.. Once dry...sand primer with 180 grit paper.. Clean again and paint..that's all there is to it. Unless you want a very shiny coat.. In that case, you would want to lightly scuff the paint with RED scotch bright, clean again and then clear coat....I had to repaint all of my parts 3 to 4 time till I got all of my mistakes worked out .... I tried a couple different ways, but finally got advice from my brother-in-Law.... Which has been painting cars for many years. Good Luck.
  11. Boy.. I wish I had access to one..... I gotta machine everything right from the start..😞
  12. Cause THEN I could understand it. THAT would be fun. To have an engine to experiment with and try out new designs on.
  13. Guess I don't understand the usefulness of mocking up engine internals. Unless you are trying to redesign something internally and need to check for interference.😯...are you planning on building your own parts ?
  14. MAN... Wish I had the extra cash right now...NICE DEAL kawa110 .
  15. [emoji38].. No worries..we all miss the simple stuff sometimes.. Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk

  17. I'm not familiar with that particular clutch set up, but just by looking at it? Makes me wonder 2 things.. 1.) Is the outer hub clocked in the right position ? 2.) Does the pancake bearing have the correct length set screw for YOUR set up ? If it were me? Either one would leave you without enough threads for the locking nut. If it were ME ? I would unbolt the outer hub and turn it one bolt hole and see if that fixes it.
  18. I had the SAME conflicting decision to make.. I mainly wanna ride woods with steep hill climbs and very little to NO runway up to them. Also need torque. Had every intention on doing a woods port. After collaborating with Jeff at F.A.S.T ... He's currently doing a play/ dune port on my cylinders. Just send him an email, tell him your set up and how you are wanting it to perform.. After that... I would let HIM tell you what type of port to get... Him and Cody are GREAT to deal with.. They will answer every question you have and make you feel comfortable about your final choice. Customer service is absolutely TOP NOTCH !!!!
  19. I got the blue ones..😁 Nice set of shocks.
