  1. I have already bought a Electrix World racing ignition system for the banshee motor , it does not allow for PV so I think I'll look for non-PV barrels , however I do agree that the PV would have helped a lot with mid range
  2. yeah , that does suck! try this one http://cubeupload.com/im/nmrichardson/IMG8758.jpg
  3. looks like this at the moment :
  4. cheers guys, wouldn't that be ironic , putting a PV banshee motor back into a RZ rolling chassis, how are those PV's controlled on a banshee motor? I have a 31k RZ350 and the PV's are controlled from the CDI on RPM, but on the banshee CDI there in no output for a PV servo motor ?
  5. Definitely broad power range the motor is going into a RZ350 track bike so don't want it too peaky otherwise the front wheel won't stay down lol
  6. Hi All, Any recommendations for a pre-ported, and plated off the shelf cylinder kit for a 421cc set up? I already have the 4mil crank, so wondering which cylinders work best off the shelf...
  7. I'm busy with a very similar motor spec , but mines going into a 2 wheeler track bike The software we used to port and build the pipes said I should run 34mm carbs But as PWKs don't come in a 34mm I have opted for 33's which should give a bit more mid range power Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Cheers Zilla Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks but blaster Piston does not have offset wrist pin for +5mm rod ? Or are the jugs designed to accommodate the Long rod ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi guys So my current setup is a long rod crank and 795 Pistons, Since the 795 only go up to 2mm oversize I'm just curious how one would overcome the long rod +5mm over 66mm bore ? Or is 66mm the max bore on Std barrels , and anything higher specially designed barrels ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. what compression ratio were you running?
  12. I ordered the PWKs but something fishy is up if they not available in 36mm Will have to see the suppliers response tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Well spotted !! I've just contacted the guy I ordered the carbs from and asked the question I see there are some "keihin" 34mm PWKs on eBay I hope he is not selling those Thanks for the heads up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. All of the above , plus kill switch , TORS or CDI Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Haha [emoji23] Dig away bud.... I've ordered a set of 34mm PWK's I'll see how I get on with them Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Haha I love how much confidence you place in people without asking questions yourself Must be rite because pipe and porting guy sayes so Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Why on earth would it be odd to ask people on the internet ? This has to be the biggest benefit of the Internet ....To share knowledge and ask people that have already done a similar thing in the past? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Asphalt and not sure on the porting specs as the pipe guy is doing the porting ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Most importantly I should have mentioned this banshee motor is going into a 2 wheeler track bike It will run no airbox and full custom expansion pipes I'm sure the Std 26mm carbs will hold it back a bit ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Running standard 64mm bore 4mil long rod stroker crank (373cc) Vforce 4 reeds Pro design cool head with 19cc domes And porting What carbs would work well ? Thinking 36mm ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hi all I was told today that you can not mix and match top and bottom crank cases They have to be used in matched pairs ? Any truth in this ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. so i was a std crank away from a running motor, but wheres the fun in a std motor I've ordered a 4mil long rod crank, ill get 795 pistons and ill cut my domes for the stroker, doing some case matching and porting ordered some Vforce reeds too thoughts on racing ignition systems/CDI ? I'm thinking of using the Electrex?
  23. You have a very valid point , I'm only a Std crank away from having a running motor , 4mil crank will add more costs than just the crank.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. So you can can get stroker domes ? I looked on Pro Designs web site and it only mentioned Std bore and big bore domes in different volumes, no mention of stroker domes, I'm guessing this dome allows the piston to travel 2mil over the deck ? I'm not emotionally attached to my std Pistons and as they are part of a cheap Chinese (probably) kit maybe not a bad idea get a set of 795 Pistons and stroker domes and 4 mil crank I guess the question is would the 4mil crank, 795 Pistons and stroker domes be much better than a Std crank, Std Pistons and Std crank ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. so what would be a better setup? 4mil crank and spacer or Std crank no spacer
