  1. Yes there is a 1/2 link, I just removed mine(wasted) to re-gear taller. Do you have 1 space in your sprocket or 2 between the ends of the chain when on the sprokets?
  2. I also would look at the pressure plate out of line, been there done that. What exactly is happening with the shifter? Moves left to right a little and hangs in gear?
  3. You probably need a 1/2 link to put in there, a little hard to find but a good shop should be able to order one for you, Could you take a link and run 2 master links and make it work?
  4. The only places I know are the M/C tracks, Crosby but it is NOT banshee friendly, never been to Spring Creek but have heard parts if not all is off limits. You could drive about 4 hours to The Dunes or 12 to LS. It depends on the type of riding you are looking for also, mine is drag only so it limits me.

  6. I know what you mean I have +6 now was going +8 (already had called my builder about it)but everybody got out of the drag scene around here, but I'm not running the HP that you are on my little 350(with goodies).
  7. your right lockup and override would be nice, but you can switch to meth for very very little money, but you have to be able to put it to the ground.

  10. They make it easy to fine tune your carbs once you are close on the mains.

  12. My carb setup has a nipple JB Welded into the bowls and there is a metering valve also JB Welded into the throat of the carb on the filter side when you open the throttle extra fuel is sucked up and acts as a second main jet. If this makes sense.
  13. I hate when that happens. I just drill mine, bought 3-4 extra sets and drill up till it falls on it's face then go down a size or turn my metering valve closed some. I now have a summer set and a winter set and adjust from there. Are you going to run a metering setup or just try to run off the bowls(not recommended)? The only part of alcohol that I HATE is having to purge the motor everytime, that is a pain.

  16. I don't know on needles for a set of stock carbs, mine are aftermarket 26's bored to 28 and I had A&S set them up for me. You might give one of the shops that post on here a call to see if they can help, for a cheap try you could put the needles in a drill and hold sandpaper and taper them down, I know it a redneck fix but have heard people doing it.lol Are you sure they are setup for alcohol? Emulcifier tubes bored? Have the extra pickup from the bowls to the throat? I would hate to see you burn a hole in the pistons running lean on stock setup.
  17. You need to change your needles for sure, alky needles are thinner and longer(sharp points not blunt). Plug reading is the same but harder being the fuel burns cleaner and cooler, takes longer to change colors. Remember fat on alcohol is better than lean.
  18. When you say it jams up, what exactly happens? Can't shift up or down? Check your side to side play by push or pulling on the shifter itself and see if there is play there if so that may be your problem.
  19. Did it run before you rejetted? If so start with the basics, key on, switch on handle bars on, fuel turned on? Then check for spark at plugs.

  21. Maybe the Dixie Pricks need to move overseas like all the other movie actors said they were going to if Bush got elected. I have yet to see one of them leave. If you don't like this country then leave nobody is stopping you.

  23. I know I'll get bashed for this but I love my 28's on alcohol, would like to try a set of 34's just to compare though.
  24. I would guess about 2 pounds each side. I use the rear alot and feather the front on hard braking. Unless you ride where noone else is you will need your front brakes when some idiot comes across in front of you and your doing everything under the sun to stop. just my .02
