  3. Thanks. Looks like the aspen fuel is only in the UK. Guess I will have to keep cleaning carbs till something changes. I have heard putting a mixture of diesel I. With gas help from breaking down. But the source it came from was not too credible. So will have to keep researching. I have tried fuel stabilizers and they work for a little while. But not several months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Never heard of it. Will check into it. I have a lot of vintage bikes that I don't get to ride them enough to keep this bs gas we get nowadays from going bad. Thanks for info.
  5. They are in Florence AL 35630
  6. I used to have an aftermarket bike shop till I sold it in 2013. this was a bike we had worked on for a customer, he ended up in prison and we were stuck with the bike.. called his wife to see what she wanted to do and she politely said she didn't give a damn what we did with it that if we expected her to pay the bill that we could kiss her ass cause he left her with enough . needless to say we were stuck with it.. bike was ruff with rust broken this broken that but it ran like a champ, that's what he wanted was get it running he fix the rest. so instead of fixing it up to sell I did the abandoned title to take legal possession of it and it became our engine donor... that was 10 years ago and it still runs like a champ bout every 6 months or so got to clean carbs from this ethanol crap building up cause we don't drive it enough.. decided to get it out clean up and rebuild the bed and make couple rat rod shows coming up here pretty soon...
  7. This was what I had planned to do. It be a badass project. May still do one if theI don't sell soon enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Been working on this truck for quit some time now. It's been a fun Lil project. It's been cut down some just to be different. The cool part is it's powered by a 1980 Honda cb650. It's a blast to drive. We also suicided the doors. Turns heads every where it goes. Another cool part is the transmission. I used a marine trans out of a big cruiser boat. So it does have reverse. It uses a jack shaft to turn the trans shaft then out the back of it with a drive shaft to the differential. So it got 5spd forward and 5spd reverse. Lol. The drive train is opel gt rack and pinion and rear differential. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Here we have a 1953 dodgem bumper car and a 1947 Lusse. First pic is the 53 dodgem it's is a roller. Has steering turn table. And motor housing. All electrics are missing but still available. I also have all trim pieces including the bumper pad and rail. 3rd pic is the 47 Lusse. It's not a roller no steering. No trim. I do have the bumper and rail. Get both for 1500.00. Bring help to load. These things are heavy. All steel bodies. I had plans to mount them on top of a golf cart or an atv. Google custom bumper cars. Guy in cali built 10 badass bumper cars. Ones has a sportster engine one has kaw zx6 motor in it. Just never got around to doing it. Then got the banshee bug again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. There you go. Should be an ass skinner
  21. In pretty sure it's going to be dm cylinder at least that's what I'm leaning towards mostly. It's a little more $$$ but everything I have read it's well worth it.

    Work stand.

Not sure if I'm posting in rite place. But any ideas on a work stand beside the scissor stands. I have one of those and with the full stretched frames and wheelie bars they are unstable. I thought about a bike lift but they are bulky to fit in trailer. It's perfect for shop use but in looking at a different type of stand while at the track. I once saw a guy had the floor cut out of his enclosed trailer and sit his lift down in it so that it was level with floor. Little drastic for me. But it worked great. I would prefer under and awning with fans blowing. Bike up on a stand of some sort so you don't have to be all bent over all the time. Not that that's a huge problem but would make adjusting cleaning tinkering a little easier. I'm sure someone has an idea or already built one.
  23. perfect, I have always liked one on each side simply for the looks, and true like you said only have to remove one pipe, just making sure there was no real factor in power differences on how they exited. I know on motor cycle drag pipes or any performance pipe on 4 strokes multi cylinder the theory was all the pipes were to be same length and worked off back pressure of each other. im not having any luck finding some info as I used the search tool to see if this had already been discussed but to no find. but I did find a jetting pipe forum (lol) so I will remember to post there next time. thanks for the info. I'm about to get things in prospective and get moving on my engine.
