  1. Ok, got like 103psi. Which is what it has been since I bought the bike. Reeds were not chipped or warped...
  2. You want to sync them, there are a bunch of detailed threads on here or YouTube, on how to sync them. I had the same issues, when I deleted my tors
  3. Going to check it tomorrow night. Out of town right now. I don't think it is electrical though.
  4. It seemed like it was almost constantly. The exhaust seemed to never get hot, or really be pushing pressure out the tail
  5. I was able to get carb cleaner through it though? When I take it off again ill try cleaning it out again
  6. I was riding up in silver lake this weekend and after a couple hours of riding, we took a break. When we went back out, i noticed my temp was not getting above 150 or so. Then I notice a slight pinging or something coming from my right cylinder (brake side) and the pipe was much cooler and I was not spooling very well. The exhaust was barely putting any pressure out. Any ideas? I'm going to check compression and my reeds. Ps. I was running premium gas with yamaha lube 2stroke at 32:1. My compression since I got the bike was 110 on left and 108 on right. I was planning a rebuild later this year. I also check spark and put new plugs. I also took off and cleaned that carb.
  7. Thankfully I had my back up blaster so the day was not ruined, just my wallet hahahah
  8. On monday went out to the badlands in Attica. Tank started leaking... fuel went into the throttle cable on the right carb, seized the cable. ordered a tors elimination kit and found a used tank. I had pulled the tank brass fittings out, and when cleaning the hole, I thought i may have put in the new screw a hair to far... oops. Oh well I will epoxy it and use as a back up.
  9. Thank you. I realized what was meant. Thank you all! I really appreciate it. Going to go out for a rip
  10. Ok so one of my slides was also backwards stuck WOT
  11. How do I visually sync them if i can't run it? So I do need to have idle screws after cutting wires? I was under the impression I could at least start it without putting on the elimination kit on
  12. Ok so the slide was 180 degrees off... yup I'm dumb Hahaha. Shee runs now... but it just starts to high idle... is this because I cut the tors wires?
  13. Ok I'll try pulling it again. When the slide is out of the carb, the cable feels normal.
  14. I pulled my carbs one at a time. I did the left one and put it back no issues. And the thumb throttle felt normal. When I did the right one and put it back on and then when putting the slide and needle back in, when in fine, but after tightening the top, i felt the throttle and it was like it was already compressed.
  15. So when I went to put my right slide in, my throttle cable goes slack...
  16. OK I'll pull them either tonight or tomorrow to clean em up
  17. Okay, checked the tube. Seems to be correct in there. I checked left bowl and full of fuel, haven't checked right because it is kind of a pain and i didn't have a ton of time. Any ideas to try for later?
  18. It would be my luck though they both go... bought an '88 F250 a couple years ago and the one tank's gauge all of a sudden wasn't moving. I changed which tank I was pulling from no biggie, stopped to get fuel when that 2nd was low. Gauge didn't move, filled other tank. no movement... both sending units quit within 20 miles of each other. so this would be my kind of luck i am hoping its the hose hahaah
  19. well then I will definitely look at it with a big freaking light to check, simple fixes make me happy... even if they caused me to miss riding this weekend and in the snow...
  20. Alrighty, then I will inspect the hose, and see if I can kick it on over in the morning. Keep the ideas a flowing though hahah I will try just about anything
  21. well, then being I took them apart individually, they are in correctly. I will check that hose again in the morning. on the note of the hose, the choke used to stay on no issues... but now wont stay unless I hold it... could this be something, I didn't notice until I was trying to fire it with the fuel poured in.
