I just finished installing my front Alba LT arms. Im a bit confused on what to do with the washers. The aluminum washers that come with the kit fit fine on the uppper A arm, but they dont fit correctly on the bottom. For those that are running the Alba LT arms, are you running any aluminum washers on the your bottom arms? If so in what position?
Hold tight guys I may have a solution that is perfect for what we want and capable temp wise to 1800F. Price will be competitive to. Im going to check out first and see if it works.
Hey guys Im going to install my Alba LT suspension tomorrow night. Im looking for some feedback on best ( or maybe easiest) way to do an alignment to set Toe and camber. I have read some people put a chalk mark line in middle of tire on both fronts and measure in front of bumper, then roll quad back and measure the mark 180 degree back from there. Is this the best method? Also I need to figure out how to do Camber. What degree camber and toe would you guys recommend?
Jeff explained to me that CPI does not include o rings anymore. He is making it right for me. Its not Jeffs fault but for $745 for pipes I would expect a higher quality fit , pipes that actually fit together, decent fit and finish and two Orings included.
Jeff is overnighting some Orings. Anyone else notice that the fit and finish on the CPIs is not that impressive? I couldnt get the silencers to slip on out of the box. To much weld slag and ovality of the pipes to slide over. My silencers looked really bad marks all over them. I am going to polish them up.
I just got my CPI pipes in today from FAST, I noticed that there is a grove machined inside the flange of the pipe where it mounts to the cylinders. Is there supposed to be an Oring that goes in there? My Trinity pipes came with an Oring inside that part of the pipe?

This could be a decent option. I dont know what the skin temp of the pipe back by the pods is...Im assuming it is under 500F.
alba and elka told me that the LT kit has 1-1.2 inchs more travel then the ST kit. It is $120 more for LT over ST. For 1 inch more travel that is worth it to me.
Interesting..I didnt think about the tighter turning radius. Makes sense that the 15/44 should have some less resistence loss off the front Sprocket vs the 14 tooth.
I am planning on doing new chain/sprockets and my builder recommended 15/44. My stock setup is 14/41...the ratio is the same,,,,why would you want to do 15/44 vs 14/41?
I just got mine into today also....looks like mine was never even installed. These are so nice, I am glad I took your recommendation to buy this from these guys.
Standard silicone pipe? I am looking for an Inner diamater to use of which size silicone to buy. I dont have my new CPI pipes in yet, but want to have my stuff ready once they show up on monday.
