you guys need stickies around this forum! seriously i got a bunch of dumbass questions coming up with my first Banshee purchase this month lol. I have a few Banshee's im looking at around the 2K price range with titles in decent shape but they are all on stock suspension. I want a nice suspension set up and have about 1K to spend after the bike cost which i project will be about 2K. my budget is about 3K total for bike and new suspension depending on what i find and want. I dont MX i just want a cushy ride for dunes and occasional trail riding. Im not spending 3 or 4K on suspension just want to put that out there! So the Elka stage 3 front and rear shocks with long travel linkage, is that something that would utilize the stock swingarm and give me the kind of rear end that will soak up whoops and rough dunes? I am looking at new a arm set ups but im totally new to suspension and arm set ups on quads. is there a resource or something around here for this info? Im stoked to buy my first banshee and i really want a suspension that make ripping the dunes more enjoyable! I'm 33 years old with a 70 years old knees hahaha

Hey thanks. Jason Hall did the inverts set up for me, thing rides like a Cadillac! I had about 1500 tied up in the front end from the Flexx bars down to the xowner 10" wheel. If you want Halls contact info let me know he does awesome work and he's a good guy

Nothing wrong with a trike though, I think my 500r pictured above was tastefully modified but to each their own I guess.

I was looking for a 2000 or newer machine in the hopes I'd get something that was still semi fresh and not been totally rebuilt multiple times. I'm a dreamer what can I say lol. i am parting out a CR500 powered hybrid atv right now in favor of buying my first banshee with some of the profits and holy crap i cant believe how many ugly banshees are out there for sale. Why do so many banshee owners plaster their bikes in chrome garbage, paint and sticker them up all funky colors? 9 our or 10 bikes i find for sale are just trashed, covered in some retarded 'sticker kit' and the ads look like a 5th grader wrote them; 'fast bike has ALL the mods not for kids'. Majority of the ads dont mention if they have titles or even the freaking year the bike is! No explanation of the mods just that the bike is 'super fast'. Cut fenders, ugly seat covers, skulls, iron crosses and monster energy drink trash all over! Im sorry its just baffling how this bike attracts that type of crowd, i just dont have words for some of the stuff! Its like the honda civic crowd of the car world End of my rant, im excited to pick up a lower hours machine this month. I have found a few near stock bikes that look like an adult owned and modified them. Cant wait to get my hands on one! on a side note if anyone is interested in a CR500 motor with a bunch of good parts including a Rekluse Z Start Pro let me know!
