  3. Mine was running, would blow plugs on the one side after 4 hours. Took the flywheel off & half of the stator is fried. Possibly my problem amongst other bits haha. More pics...

  5. Yeah, very heartbroken for sure. Security is stepped up now yeah. Gone off bikes for abit which is a shame, but now ive got my shee lol. Picked the frame up today!
  6. Had an 08 CRF250 & put the 01 CR250 motor in there, big bored to 280 with a nice port job. Had my shop broken into though in september. This & 9 other bikes were stolen along with all my tools & some stock.
  7. Poor materials sorry, was in bed when i posted that. Yeah i read about a plug in the material. But if all is well then ill stick one on my list. Thanks guys.
  8. Im in the market for a coolhead & have been looking at the chariot ones... however i did see a thread saying about poor castings etc? Can anyone shed some light on this? Will only be running on a 4mm stroked 66mm bore motor.

  13. So far ive updated the pipes & put a tri bar bumper on. Why do you recommend switching to hotrods? Had good results in mx with Wiseco
  14. Hey guys, fairly new here & new to banshees but not new to forums. Got a few builds under my belt from minibikes to AF conversion motocross bikes. I got my hands on a beaten up 04 shee, got it stripped down for powdercoat & modification, im not gonna go too nuts, most the parts will be bolt on mods other than a port job etc. So at the moment the cases & cylinders are off at the blasters and the frame etc are at the coaters, The cylinders are 1mm over, on stock rods & stock head. Ill be going for a Wiseco stroker, longer rod kit to achieve 385cc or there abouts. With Wiseco pistons, some sort of cool head, some Vforce 4s & port work. Its running FMF gnarleys & PC2 silencers with a Twinair powerflow filter kit. TORs removed too. Frame is stock, Arms are stock, axle is +2 i think with spacers all round. Gone for oversized clarke tank & standard Maier fairings on the way. Will upload some pics in a second as they are on my phone & im on my tablet lol. Hello from the UK by the way!!
  15. Hey guys, new to the forum & fairly new to banshee's, just picked up my 04 today, runs well top end but a little sluggish & flat from idle to 1/4 / 1/2 throttle. The guy i got it from said itd just been in the shop for a rejet. Im not sure what pilots in there. The receipts say 245 main though. Its got FMF expansion chambers & FMF PC2 silencers also got a K&N filter with standard airbox & lid. Its come with an FMF boost bottle but its not fitted. Elevation is around 500ft. Anybody got any ideas on what the jetting should be give or take? Thanks in advance!
