  1. What's the phone number over there. I need one of these heads and some domes.
  2. Huh. Same shit today? I haven't even sold a set of those old Suicide Drag pipes since 2006 I think. You would think after 8 years I might have changed the pipe a few times? The pipes today are constantly improving. Back then we built one pipe to fit everything. Today that would never happen. Every pipe is built to the engine. I do have a few sets of these old Inframes hanging in the shop. Thinking about putting some together for testing and see how they run against the new Hooker Inframe. How bout that bet Borrink? Who wants to see which inframe pipe comes out on top? I'm up for this dyno run. 10g's!! 350 on gas, Inframes.
  3. Oh man. Great post. I see you haven't changed much Borrink. Been through this before, same story. You worked for me, I hired the best guys I knew to build pipes. I paid you to build pipes. Yes the old out of frame pipe stamping is a copy of the ones you were building. This was MY pipe because it was my money paying you and your brother and my money testing and paying for your fuckups. Then you seen an opportunity, and did your own thing. Cool. What ever. I sold about 1500 sets of those pipes, I'd say it worked out great. But, now, today, people want more. This is why I design and hand roll the pipes. To many engines and combinations to have a die made. Borrink I know your intentions. You rode my back like a monkey into this Banshee pipe business. Good luck, but you will never build pipes like Grand River Racing!
  4. Usually around 30%. Not exactly sure on that exact run, been much higher when it's real cold!
  5. Stock chassis 220 lbs. no bar. 350 on alcohol/ nitro. 1-5 auto. Gearing? Depends. Fastest radar in 1000. 97mph. Lake Cadillac, MI. This year with the new chassis and a few improvements I plan on somewhere around 120.
  6. This seems so childish, I shouldn't even respond. Reminds me of the tough guys who show up at the gym and want to fight. They think they already know how to fight because they beat up some guy at the bar or where ever. I have Nothing to prove. It's been done. Your the one that wants to prove something. Come find me? Doesn't really matter to me. I know. You don't. Been out there plenty.
  7. There is no standard on the ice. I've been 300, 500, 600 ft drags. Radar runs are usually 1000 ft. Sometimes we just race between the cones, where ever someone puts them.
  8. Oh man. You got me! I don't think I can take top 3. In any class. You win. I haven't even started talking shit. You meant to say stating he facts right?
  9. 500. Yea. That makes it worth my while.
  10. For some reason I attract a lot of shit. Mostly because people are jelous. When you spend 20g's on a big 20mm full custom jobbie, and get your ass handed to you by my 350. All the shit starts! When you admit to yourself that there may be some guys that can build real fast shit and some that can't. Things will change for you. I'm sure K & T didn't rip you off. But they sure the fuck didn't point you in the right direction! I give people what they need, not always what they want! To me it's about winning the race, not showing up with the coolest new shit or big new whatever. The fastest guy at the track is always the guy who makes consistant progress. Small changes, small improvements, consistantly over time. Slower, You made a huge jump. Here's my advice, go back to where you last were. Fastest setup, put everything else on the bench. Why do your setups look so different? That big bike will never be fast! Can't you see how different it looks from your first setup? Just because everyone else at the track has a chassis that looks like that, does not make it right. My chassis look different because I build them to win races. Not to look like everyone else! My bikes make a flawless transition from sand, dirt, blacktop and back. Traction is traction. Change the rubber, fuck with the clutch, change the gears. Race!! If you can honestly tell me you need help sorting out your shit. I'll help. Don't care if you buy my shit or not.
  11. At least I take the time to read and comprehend your dumb ass comment before I make my post. Maybe you should try the same. Slower, maybe interested in a conversation with you later. Not now. You come off like quite the jackass. Prove to me your really interested.
  12. Ha yea. Nice. No. I plan on racing quite a bit on the ice this winter. I'd be more than happy to tell you where you can come watch. I put on a pretty good show at the drags or radar runs. But really looking at testing some new shit. Building a new chassis with some new ideas. I think it will be better than my old chassis. And those bikes got shit done! Act like an asshole and you get nothing from me! And, aah, yea, I won't get beat on the ice!
  13. I don't give handouts to retards!
  14. Must be I need to repeat myself. And I don't really like that. I don't deal with retards! You will get nothing more out of me except that comment. I fucking hate retards!! Or that one, I guess it slipped.
  15. Oh shit. Old school. Now I stirred up some shit! If alcohol banshee and NYUK are in. I'M IN!
  16. Hey tricked. I don't think I know you? I have "loaned" out a few bikes before. And it worked out very well for me! This is a possibility. Next fall? That's a ways out, pretty sure the waves will be getting big by spring time!
  17. Stock cylinders and +4 crank are more than capable of 100 hp! Seen much more than that actually, but consistently over 100. When I usually talk race gas I mean what everyone usually buys at the local race shop or race track. When you want the best shit, the most power, and still claim your on gas, that is special gas! Special gas WILL make more power than alcohol. It will be faster. And it is gas. It's a pain to tune, and very expensive! This is secret squirrel technology. I've ran all kinds of race gas, additives, alcohol, nitro up to 80% and I pretty much stick with gas. If I'm running nitrous, I only use gas. Alcohol does not burn cooler than gas. Alcohol only runs cooler on the lower rpm's because the engine is too fat and not all the alcohol is burning. If your cool on the topend, your too rich. Alcohol does have a low latent heat of vaporization, this is how it pulls heat out of the intake tract of the engine. Very beneficial. But many race gas mixes and all the secret squirrel gases are lower. Do some research. Latent heat of vaporization, oxygenated fuels, specific gravity, btu per pound. Alcohol is old tech! You won't make me look bad. Just ask!
  18. Hmmm. I kinda like boobs. We are working on a new website but probably won't be ready till first of the year.
  19. Yes, I built my dyno? Yes I do snowmobile work also. Most of the snowmobile stuff looks pretty good. Doesn't take much to get more power out of them. Head and carb work, with a set of pipes, very little porting equals big power.
  20. Who cares to show you or the world what my engine will dyno? Actually I built the dyno for me, to help me build more power. Not to prove shit to anybody. Pretty sure I've never sold an engine based on hp numbers. And I guess really if that's all you want, find an engine builder that sells based on hp. If you need to know how much power your setup makes or the power curve. I will dyno it. But unless you run a tach on your bike these numbers don't mean shit. Some of you sound like dyno sheet racers to me!
  21. Been to two planet sand races and I thought they were bullshit. Too many class's and all built around someone's special build. And too many assholes! Couple fist fights actually. My hardest competition has always been Kentucky and Michigan and I don't have to deal with retarded assholes!
  22. Oh man, I never said I was the fastest. I've seen plenty of guys run faster than me. Heads up with class rules, I will win.
  23. Call out to Grand River Racing. Love it! I don't think I can make a trip to Utah for Memorial Day. How much money are you talking total? I win 500. ? If anyone wants to run a Grand River setup on Sand Mountain for this race, get with me and maybe we can figure something out.
  24. Sounds easy doesn't it. I wish it worked that way. Here's the deal. Today about 99 percent of my customers build their shit the way I tell them. Every piece. Every fucking nut and bolt. Everything. 6-7 years ago 75 percent of my customers thought they knew more than me. So they never setup their stuff how I tell them. They would take 100hp off the dyno and set it up THEIR way and get 85. So I give you a dyno sheet that shows x amount of power with these carbs and those reeds and these pipes and that and that and this head. It doesn't mean shit because YOU WILL change it. Therefore the dyno sheet doesn't mean shit. If your really worried about that dyno sheet pay for it.
  25. I'm going to give a few reasons why I don't give out dyno sheets and why I don't like to talk about hp numbers much. Reason 1. Dyno results do not win races. It is a tuning tool only. Reason 2. I'll use the most common scenario. Customer 1 wants a bad ass 4mm setup. He says no limit. I build it. I dyno it. I tune it. I change it. I dyno again. Tune, build. Dyno. Get the point right? Lets say it makes 120hp. This thing rocks. He gets the bill. 9,000. He pays me. He's happy as all shit. Customer 2 hears about this 120hp 4mm and ask me to build it. I say 9,000. He says he doesent have that much but to build one anyway. I build what I can for 4,000. He dynos his setup at joe blows and calls me and is all pissed he only has 95 hp out of his 4mm. I try to explain to him that his 4000. Engine is not the same as the 9000. Engine. He's to fucking retarded to understand that his engine has different porting, different heads, different carbs, different ignition, different pipes. And no dyno tuning. It is not the same. He's pissed and talks shit and goes somewhere else. Reason 3. You wouldn't believe the numbers anyway because it is not a Dynojet. Reason 4. Many times my numbers come in lower than an inertia Dynojet. My guess is because the other dynos have inflated numbers or the engine loading changes the torque. The numbers are really not comparable unless you run another brake dyno with the same loading technique. But nobody really cares about how or why, they just think about that number. 100hp on my dyno will run over 120 on a wheel dyno, at the track.
